LOVE this
I have a few of these duos. They are so rich and pigmented and they brush on like a dream. The shimmer in a lot of them are gorgeous and there's no fallout like I've encountered in the past with other eyeshadow glitter. The matte black in the Pandora duo is one of the truest matte blacks I've ever used. Good but not great.
I personally think that the NARS single eyeshadows are generally better quality than the duos. I have Cordura, which is a warm brown shade and an espresso shade. Both have fine glitter in them. The shades are nice, but a little bit chalkier than most of the singles that I own.The packaging looks cool, but I hate how grubby they get. not as good as singles
If you're thinking about buying this, get the single shadows instead. The color selections are not nearly as great as the singles, and there are no high shimmer/sparkly colors. The quality seems to be better on the singles for some reason, and you get so much more with the singles, which comes in a huge pan. It was love at first sight!!
The color matches are unique and sometimes strange but they work! Pigment is rich so use a very light hand when applying and work up to the shade desired. Duos nice sized but a tad costly. My problem with nars eyeshadows are the shimmery one have no color payoff. The color fades fast and you're just left with glitter/shimmer across your lid. It's annoying cause these bad boys are around 30 dollars. When used wet they're nice but who wants to sit there and do that everyday especially when in a hurry. Eyeshadow does not get better than this
I docked Nars Duo Eyeshadow one star because of how expensive it product is, but the color selection and high quality keep luring me back. The colors (and the combinations they've been arranged in) are stunning. I like that you can use them both or individually. Awesome Color Combos but Instensity Varies
So many combo colors, some you would not think of pairing together! They range from matte to shimmery but the intensity varies, from sheer to intense. I prefer intense eyeshadows so even though some of them look colorful in the compact they don't always show up on me as intensely as I'd like. I really liked this
I got the duo "Divine" which is a dark brown and VERY bright pink. I always applied it wet and it stayed on well. I will buy Nars again for sure, but not these colors! Shameful!!!!!
For the price I thought that the quality and color would be out of this world. Digging for Nars Bohemian Gold
Beckie: Although I would buy Nars eyeshadow in a different color combo, the quality of the shadow is fabulous. The iridescent copper is too lustrous for my mature lids. Jamie: Because I have more warm tones than Mom, both eyeshadows complement my skin.
