  This is a great product. It works wonders on short hair and great for bangs. However, I only gave it a nine because if you use too much, you get clumpy chunky hair. Keep it light and you'll love it. October 30, 2009, 10:05 pm

  Great for framing layers around your face, and molding bangs!

  I have long layers, which tend to disappear if I air dry like I normally do. This product is wonderful as a texturizer - simply rub a bit into your hands to warm it, and start sliding your fingers down sections of layers, sliding inward towards the face. Instant definition, it makes my 3 month old cut look fabulous and like... new. =) October 21, 2009, 8:31 pm

  I absolutely loved what this did to my hair! It made my layers stand out more, added a little shine, and smells incredible. The only thing I didn't care for was how sticky my hands felt after I applied it, but I think that's just the nature of this kind of product.   I've just used this for the first time, and I think I used too much! It comes out like Elmer's glue, and I was a bit afraid when I put it in my hair....but my VERY FINE, straight hair held it's shape all day - something that is difficult to accomplish here in the Humid deep South!   Fun and functional!

  This stuff is kinda fun to work with, but don't use too much it goes a long ways. I have long hair and it definitely gives it dimension and hold. It's not a product I'd use every day, but does give you the ability to do almost anything to your hair. I love to have a different do every day so this is a great addition for ...a small price.   I have really long hair and it's rare for me to find a styling product, let alone a texturizer, that will not leave residue (be in the form of flakes, excess stickiness, or clumps) throughout my tresses. So you can imagine my wariness when I first squeezed the first drop of this, because it felt, as another reviewer describ...ed, sticky like Elmer's glue (it even looks like Elmer's glue - it's white!). But I am so glad I overcame my initial hesitant foolishness because it worked wonders! Having long hair, I struggle with the organization of my style. I hate to wear hair spray, so I rely on other styling products. This was not heavy; it organized my cut and bangs in a soft way. The "flexible-elastic texturizer" doesn't give me the "doused in hair gel" look that I hate! That alone - the sculpt without greased look - is wonderful! Okay, now that I've covered the technical stuff of it - how well it works, etc., I'll describe the actual product and its worded text. The product comes in a dispenser much like a shaving cream can. The product itself is white like Elmer's glue. It has a pleasant soft floral smell that doesn't smell artificial or nauseating like most styling products do. The stated method for use of this product is as follows: 1) evenly distribute in the palm of your hand. 2) use your hands to work the product through your hair. 3) Scrunch, press, or twist to bring texture to life. The reason I rate it an 8 is because I don't have the right kind of cut that would benefit most from this product. Someone with a pixie/shorter/angled/victoria-beckham-rihanna style would get the most from it. But it works well enough with my hair. :) October 25, 2009, 9:07 pm

  great for curls

  amazing stuff!it has the hold of a gel or hairspray without the stickiness. it lasts all day and left my curls well defined and soft. it has one downside, the container. its difficult, but its worth it!!! October 25, 2009, 11:23 am

  I found a replacement.

  I recently got a cut that took off a little more than 3in of my bottom layer and king of chopped up the back. I looks great when it is pieced out or shaped in a different way. My stylist started me using Marsh Mellow by Schwarzkopf. Sometimes the style did not last, the product would get stuck on my had, I would have to us...e hair spray with it. Sometimes the product would leave white specks in my dark hair as well. I was so excited when I got this product to sample. It did all the things Marsh Mellow did and did not do. My style last all day without any left over residue in my hair. I even forgot it was in my hair and used a flat iron to fix the long pieces of my hair. I was thinking that it should have harden my hair like the Marsh Mellow. It did no such thing. May hair remained soft, but as always my style held. I had used a product like this from bumble and bumble before. It was too sticky and did not add shine to my hair like this product. I am so glad that I have found a product that I can deal with, with my new cut. October 23, 2009, 9:05 am
