Better than Wicked

by JamieFallon (4 reviews)
Wicked was my favorite polish until I tried Boris & Natasha. I'm blond with light skin and somehow, the browny wine color looks fabulous with my skin tone. This is one of those polish colors that looks a million times better on than. I love it.11/08/2007

May 21, 2008, 7:57 am I have both Russian Navy and Midnight in Moscow, and they're both amazing colors. I wore Russian Navy on my toes for months, including on a trip to Japan. After Russian Navy, I switched to Midnight Moscow, which is dark but still has a lovely red shimmer. These are great colors for the winter, and will probably always be thought of as "classic" OPI colors. I'm glad I picked up my Russian Navy way back in July '07! However, I will say that if you don't put a top coat on (which, uh, I don't always do, especially on my toes), the pigment will rub off -- a lot of my socks have blue toes now, and when I was a temp with Russian Navy nails, there were a couple of client files with navy swipes from my nails. Ooops. May 21, 2008, 7:57 am

I treated myself to a manicure with OPI Get Me To The Taj On Time and a pedicure with OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue from the India Collection, two of the twelve delicious colors. OPI's India Collection is as rich and diverse as India. For more than 1000 years, India's astrologers have taught that the sun's white light is composed of all the colors, and for more than 15 years, OPI has entertained us with the famed names of their spectacular nail lacquers. Here are the 12 reasons to get your nails painted ASAP: I'm India Mood For Love ElePhantastic Pink Black Cherry Chutney Keys To My Karma MonSooner Or Later Moon Over Mumbai Yoga-ta Get This Blue Get Me To The Taj On Time Curry Up And Don't Be Late Charmed By A Snake Lunch At The Delhi Royal Rajah Ruby As importantly as the creative names, nail polishes one of the few types of products that routinely contains ingredients linked to birth defects. OPI is an eco-friendly and non-toxic polish. FYI: Paint nails in a well-ventilated room, or outside, or avoid using nail polish altogether, particularly when you are pregnant. So that's what all the fuss is about...!

I'm a low-maintenance gal who is also kind of cheap. I thought paying more than $2 or so for a bottle of nail polish was nuts. Now that I've been wearing my first OPI for 8 days (no chips yet!) I understand why women pay more. My nails feel so glossy. They look great and I can't stop admiring my own feet. Wow! February 3, 2008, 5:00 am

I tried the Russian Navy on my Med. length nails & found that in daylight, it looked a little green-ish. The next time I had my nail tech, put a coat of black polish on under the navy & it really made the color deeper & truer! Beautiful!!! November 25, 2007, 8:23 pm

    Russian Navy! Move over chanel!

    by thedragonslady (411 reviews)
There was Russian Navy before Chanel ever thought of going blue this season!! I like originals why pay twice as much for a chanel copy!? Great color, shine, ease of application and long lasting. June 18, 2008, 9:50 am

    Russian Navy Rocks!

This is close (if not better) to Chanel's more expensive Blue Satin. Love it on my toes! May 29, 2008, 11:43 am

    Love Siberian Nights!

    by lulufrufru (9 reviews)
    1. OPI is the best polish around (or at least in my mind) especially for the price. 2. Siberian nights is a fantastic color - I've been wearing it for a couple of weeks and it looks great! It's the perfect deep purple. March 10, 2008, 2:14 pm

    Vampy / OK at Office

    by rbarnett (35 reviews)
This color looks sophistacated, but is not a "nearly black" color that you cannot wear at an office. It is a dark plum color that I can wear out and about. I got a compliment on it last night from a friend, who also has an office job. Only downside is that it chips after a few days, like other OPI polishes. January 17, 2008, 12:18 pm

    Best collection for fall

    by ChristinaT (4 reviews)
I love all the colors in this collection. There is something for everyone! My last manicure and pedicure I chose Russian Navy and I have received so many compliments. Darker than I would usually feel comfortable but it was so different I couldn't resist. November 14, 2007, 1:17 pm
