      Old Faithful Buffer

      While it only really buffs the nails and doesn't take away all the ridges in your nails at one time, it definitely brings out the natural sheen, and at the price its definitely worth a try! May 25, 2008, 9:30 pm

      Does a nice job

      I've been using Sally Hansen Ridge Reducer & Buffer for about a week and it does a nice job of smoothing my nails. Leaves them smooth and shiny. April 16, 2008, 7:35 am

      • Shape Nails Steps 1-3 shape nails. Start with coarse grit and progress to fine grit to shape and refine nails. File in one direction, from sides to center. Finish Nails Step 4-8 smooth, buff and shine nails. Step 4 and 5 remove ridges. Even out nail by going back and forth with buffer. (Do not remove too much from the surface or you may weaken the nail.) Step 6 & 7 buff and shine the nail to a brilliant finish. Move buffer back and forth until you reach your desired shine. Wash and dry hands before applying nail polish.
