Creates long lashes, but runs easily

When you first put it on this mascara looks amazing, it really does a good job of making your lashes look long, full and natural. However, it runs really easily, and within a few hours I always end up with black marks all underneath my eyes. I have had to stop using it becuase of this problem.11/13/2007

      I tried this mascara and was really let down. Not only did my lashes clump and the product flake, after a couple of hours I had big racoon eyes from the black smudges under my eyes. There is definitely better mascaras out there!!! April 17, 2008, 7:16 pm

      Looks great at first, But....

      I love Laura Mercier products, but... this one is not up to her rigid standards. It goes on beautiful and really builds without clumping, but the effect only last about 5-6 hours. It starts to flake shortly thereafter. Wish they could take this back to the lab and perfect it because it has great results at first, it just...       Wonderful Lashes - but high cost

      I am not a big believer in spending a lot on a mascara. To me, there are drugstore mascaras that can deliver the goods just as well as any high end. I got a deluxe sample of this product and I did find the results were wonderful. I had not problems with clumping, flaking, or issues with the brush. I would probably have ...       long flirty lashes

      Okay -- but there are better mascaras out there

      • Coat the lashes from the base to the tips of the lashes for a thicker, fuller effect. Want a glamorous look? Apply a second coat of mascara to the tips of the lashes only - this trick is helpful when creating a more dramatic or evening eye look.
