Could use some improvements, but still worth it!

I usually do my own nails, and frequently get a bit of nail polish on my cuticles or on the skin around the nail bed. I usually try to scrape it off right away with some cardstock but sometimes I don't always get all of it. I know some people use Q-tips and polish remover but sometimes the little fibers from the Q-tips stick to the polish. But following one of the reviewer's tip to dip it in polish remover and wipe it off would probably help. Overall a pretty useful tool, worth the couple of bucks I spent!

This wa a great idea. At first I loved it, but it dried out so quick I won't be purchasing again. I dip a q-tip in nail polish remover, and use that.

Did not meet expectations

The first time it worked nicely, and then, went down the hill from there. Although it came with two replacement tips, the tip became dirty and dried very quick. I wanted to use the tip a few more times, but then it became harder to correct mistakes. This pen may be more convenient, but Q-tip dipped in a nail polish remover can do a similar or even better job.

2 Enthusiastic Thumbs Up!

I actually love this product. While the other reviews that were written are true, the first use is the best, I have a trick that I use and it hasn't failed me yet! When I use it a few times, the tip does get saturated with different colors that I have had to remove. I dip the tip in regular nail polish remover that I pour into the cap of the polish remover bottle. I let it soak for a few secon...read moreds and then dab it on an old towel. I repeat this process till the tip looks more like it did when I first purchased it. Not only am I cleaning the tip, but I'm re-wetting it with more polish remover! I think it's a great buy ($4.29) because the shape of the tip is great for getting the hard to remove spots on your nails and is also awesome since it's reusable!!! Gotta save the earth, one reusable polish removing pen at a time!!! lol

Effective but not long lasting

I do my manicures and pedicures quite often and decided to purchase this item to help with the little nail messes. Trying the product for the first time it worked really good cleaning up the edges of the nails where I over painted, but the product dried up pretty fast. I could only get a few uses out of the product. I believe that the quality of this product could be better. You can get this produ...read morect from Walgreens for $4.29. The plus to this is that it does come with a couple replacement tips, but I don't think that I would purchase this item again.

sally hansen manicure pen

having been a nail tech for over 20 years and currently own a nail salon i can say i often use sally hansen products along with professional only products. although this is a great product to keep in your overnight bag/purse i have found i am able to use an orange stick for the same purpose. now not all can do this so this is a great hands on product. also, is refillable so something to reuse.
