Sally Hansen Salon Nail Lacquer
Editor's Rating & Review
The 24 shades of this drugstore favorite can't compare to OPI's vast collection, but it's a fair trade-off for the added conditioning and strengthening keratin and botanicals. It's pregnancy-safe (the line contains no DBP, toluene or formaldehyde), but quality suffers. The watery lacquer separates easily and delivers a chunky, uneven finish, despite the promise of flawless application. Be sure to give it a good shake before applying.

Use your money on something else
No greater than cheaper polishes. It went on slightly thicker, and it didn't make any difference when it came to chip-resistance, etc. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not worth it.
UGH! I'm really glad I bought this on clearance (70% off), because the product is terrible. PROS: Nice packaging and and nice grippy rubbery handle. CONS: Expensive if not on clearance, especially given the quality. Streaky if applied thinly. Took me 4 thick coats to get it opaque and not-streaky. Took forever to dry, even after I applied Sally Hansen Insta-Dri! Cracked on the edges after 1 day (although that's a problem I've had w/Insta-Dri). Chipped within two days. :( Overall, a poor product. Don't waste your money. — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Need double/triple coat
This may be the worst Sally Hansen nail polish/color I have ever purchased. I got Lacquer Shine #2 - Luminous. This nail polish is very thin/watery. The color seems to slip off before drying, and I have to do double or even triple coat to get the color I want, also it takes some time to dry. My only positive comment on this product is, yes, it has good shine. I won't buy this one again. — 4 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
