This was recommeded to me by my esthetician. I used it once at night every other night for 3 weeks, then moved up to once a day. It helps reduce the size of the pimples with after about 2 - 3 days. its not perfect but I like using it becuase its not harsh, and I can tolerate the scent. I got these after reading all the hype and I'm glad I did. I didn't notice any miracles, but I did notice a definite improvement in my omplexion. They are quite expensive, but they do clear up acne, although mine got really bad for a few days before it got better. I would use it with a very gentle cleanser and not add too many products on top as it can be very drying and burn your skin a little. Pricey, but I use these pads every morning after washing my face and I am always surprised to see how much extra dirt and grease rubs off on these pads even after I have washed my face! I also use them at night before I apply my night cream and I use them as my makeup brush cleaner they really wipe my concealer and foundation brushes clean! I have been using the Peter Thomas Roth Complexion Correction Pads (both gentle and max strength) for years. I first started using them as a teenager when acne is at its worst. I would use it after sports and horseback riding to help get rid of some of the sweat and dirt from my face (after I took a shower of course) The pads really do an excellent job of helping minimize redness and swelling from pimples, which was the main reason I love the pads and still use them for the occasional breakout. I need something stronger

I have excessively oily skin, but I purchased these pads in gentle because I was concerned with drying it out. At $36 a jar I found them a bit pricey for my budget but intended to use them just once a night which would result in two month's use. This regiment didn't make a huge impact on my skin. While it did clear up my skin somewhat I think I would have to use the pads more frequently or up the ante and buy the full strength formula to get my desired results.
