Felt way too this and goopy.

Murad Perfecting Day Cream
This is a slightly rich daily moisturizer with a good SPF level. I don't use this all the time, but on days when my skin is feeling just a little too dry for my liking. I don't recommend this one for wear under make-up, as it does seem to bring a bit of oil to the surface that you don't want when you need even make-up application. I'd say this is fine if you;re going to blend it with some tinted moisturizer and you're not going to wear anyther make-up on your face aside from blush, but any ore than that and you can forget using this. But if you're looking for protection and you're not going to be all made up, this is a quality product to choose. Very hydrating!
This daytime moisturizer has been GREAT for my dry sensitive skin. A staple in my collection for over 2 years now. I sometimes try to find another lotion to use in the morning with SPF since the Murad one is a little pricey but I always seem to end up coming back to this one. Moisture Overload!
I have combo skin and this moisturizer is waaay to much for me. By mid morning my face feels horrible and very greasy. I guess for normal or dry skin it would work well. Good basic moisturizer

Not for oily skin
I got a sample size of this from Sephora and was really excited. Murad seems a little pricey so I felt lucky to try it for free. What I did like was that it did seem to moisturize well and last all day. The lotion is very thick and creamy like a sunblock cream. What I didn't care for was the fact that it made the oily portions of my combination skin even worse. I felt and looked shiny all day long. Also, a more pleasing scent would be nice - I don't care for the smell of sunblock. A Definite Buy!
I just received a free sample of this in the mail from Murad and WOW!! I am in love! The velvety texture of this cream is magnificent. My face has never been so soft and smooth and what a difference I noticed in the mirror as well! I could not believe I woke up and looked so great without any makeup! My skin looks clear, clean and smooth and I am 40!! I can't stop touching my face!
