  Cleans and clears up my skin better than anything else. Very simple, very old school. Spending six bucks on one product that deep cleans and moisturizes (exfoliates too if you take it off with a warm wash cloth) makes much more sense than spending that much on a few different products. Only 8 stars because the smell could b...e better and its mostly mineral oil (which I hear is bad for you?). Definitely buy it, good for taking off a full face of makeup or cleansing.   good for dry skin

  this product is effective in removing makeup, but make sure you follow instructions! that is you must use a damp washcloth to take this product off. washing off with water would not help! i really like this product because it takes off my lancome waterproof mascara EASILY.. but its a little too rich for me. i have oily/dry ...flakey skin.. weird combination but its dry and flakey on the top. therefore when i use this product even after using the damp washcloth and a cleanser, i tend to get oil bumps under my skin. so please avoid if you're oily!   family affair

  For as long as I can remember my Grandmother and mother had used this cold cream religously, every night no matter what time of night they went to bed. When I was old enough to wear make up my mother bought me my very first jar of cold cream and told me that it is one of the things that I will appreciate as I get older if I... started using it now.   Good for those with oily skin!

  This is something I picked up on a whim when I ran out of my expensive cleansing oil. I wanted something for a good price, and I had heard good things about this product, although I was intially unsure if it was good for oily skin. I love this! I slather it on at night to remove all my makeup, let it sit on my skin for a...bout 10 or 20 minutes, and then take a warm washcloth, lay it over my face to let the heat penetrate, and then wipe clean. It leaves skin soft, smooth, and moisturized. I actually think this helped lessen the oil production. It is like having a mini-facial every night at home. When I run out I will be buying the large tub. It doesn't break me out and removed everything! October 18, 2007, 10:59 am

  My Mom use to use this faithfully, I found it too greasy, but as I aged, I find it a soothing, winter treat. I would't use it daily, I think my oily skin would freak! but, occasionally, it works well. I always have a jar in my cupboard. Also, for those lazy too tired to wash my face nights, this fits the bill! Makes m...y skin under my eyes feel less tight. May 5, 2008, 6:15 pm

  Add me to the list of women who learned the secret of this great product from our mothers. It removes my makeup and keeps my skin soft.   I watched my mom do her simple beauty routine that included dabbing her face with a little Pond's and wiping it off with a warm wet wash cloth. I followed suit and began using it in my 30's and you know something? I love it. It feels great. I don't feel greasy after I use it.   This product is good for removing stage makeup after a dance recital or play. If you have oily skin I do not recommend using this cleanser. (If you have oily skin and do use this for stage makeup removal I suggest using a cleanser for oily skin afterwards). For normal-dry or dry skin this is a great product to use alone or ...when you want a more emollient cleansing. April 26, 2008, 5:18 pm

  Fountain of Youth in a jar

  I swear by this product! I have been using it for 25 years, and to this day, I am still told I look anywhere from 10 to 15 years younger than I am....I always feel my skin is softer and less dry looking, nothing has worked as well, or without skin irritation as Ponds products...
