I recently decided to stop coloring my hair and embrace my gray hair. This changed the whole makeup of my hair and I was having trouble finding a shampoo that would work with the new texture and my new regimin of only shampooing every other day. A friend of mine gave me some samples of Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo and I love it. My hair is soft, but not staticky. My hairstylist highly recommended this shampoo for my thick, wavy, and often dry hair. I eagerly purchased it, hoping for the moisture recovery the product promised. This shampoo has an AMAZING scent BUT it didn't deliver on the moisture part. It made my hair feel oily and dirty. No matter how good I rinsed, I still felt like this shampoo clung to my hair and weighed it down. Nice smell, lathers well and very little is needed. It does have a ph to it but I am not really sure what the benefits are.
