I say it's the best because it gives me a natural look coverage. People are always surprise when I say I have make up on, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is the best ...not only it gives you a flawless look it also has SPF to protect our beautiful face from UV ray. It will stay long to keep you looking fresh. A staple.
I am a cosmetic addict that is always looking to try new products.. I have tried other tinted moisturizers and end up going right back to laura every time. It goes on smoothly, with just the perfect amount of color. For a more opaque look, I put Laura's powder foundation on top. Cakey, Dry, not easy to apply
This IS not a moisturizer, this IS a foundation. There is no moisture or dewyness-this will dry your face out. My skin: sensitive, normal (not oily or dry), no acne. This applies difficult, not smooth, your face will look cakey and chalky. Does it live up to the hype?
What I really like about this product is that it is not as greasy as some other tinted moisturizers out there, plus it has spf protection, moisturizing properties and foundation coverage. I don't like to use foundation so this is an ideal product because it gives me some coverage without being thick on my face, plus it is a great light moisturizer. I wish it provided a tad bit more coverage and I think it falls short because of the color range of this product. I use the second to darkest shade, it's not a great match for my olive skin tone (I wish it was a little darker), but it is not too light as to make me look washed out. The darkest shade is too dark. If you buy this product, my opinion is to go with a darker shade than you usually would. I do use this product daily and sometimes I mix it with my Aveda tinted moisturizer, which is a darker shade. The BEST Tinted Moisturizer for women 40+
I tried about five different tinited mositurizers before I tried Laura Mercier's. The others left orange streaks on my face and neck and none of them were light enough for my pale skin. Not only does this line have a great range of tints, but it blends flawlessly and gives a nice light coverage. It's so great I only use the tinited moisturizer and a bit of (smashbox) powder for my base. I am 46 and have some imperfections (age spots, pores gettig larger, etc.) and this is the only product that will cover them enough, but not make me look caked-on in the daylihgt like so many women my age do. Tinted Moisturizer SPF20
This felt like putting foundation on my face and looked like putting foundation. It felt heavy and had to be smoothed far more than applying moisturizer or 'glowing' moisturizers.
