The Redken Curl Perfecting Lotion boosts curls and waves in towel dried hair. It smells a bit citrusy as you pump it into your palms and then rub them together before rubbing your fingers and palms through your hair and then scrunching it. When you let it air dry, curls and waves form as it dries. I was happy that the curls were soft and not crunchy and that I can find such a product at a local drugstore for a reasonable price. good curl cream

It took me forever to find a great product for my naturally thick, curly hair; this is it and i;ve been using it for years! The people who are insulting this product aren't doing something right! I pretty much just let my curls go and do their own thing (i've found fighting them into perfection just makes a frizzy mess!) and this makes my curls manageable, movable, controlled and soft. Not so good.
I'm really picky about my curly hair products, and get great compliments when I find the right products. I often use a triad of leave in conditioner, mousse and gel. I tried using this product alone and as a 'gel' with my triad, and it failed miserably. I have a lot of fine, ringlet curly hair and it left it wet in some parts, and as my hair air-dried it went frizzy. Just ok
I used this product for a whole bottle's worth, but it never really did anything spectacular for my hair. I have fine curly hair, and a lot of it, and it didn't wiegh it down, but it also didn't really do a lot of anything else either. It did make it slightly more shiny and conditioned looking, but it didn't do a lot to last all day and keep my curls defined. If I had limited options this product would do, but since I can move on to better things I will. Farewell Frizz!!
I am one of those people that were blessed with naturally curly hair. Unfortunately frizz often accompanies curl. I had tried product after product after product. Gel left my hair crunchy and looking wet, not a look I wanted. My hairdresser was always trying out different products on me to try to solve my problem with frizz. Finally we hit the jackpot. Redken ringlet 07 is incredible. Nothing has worked better than this product. It is not sticky like gel and does not leave my hair crunchy, a word that should be used to describe peanut brittle NOT hair! Redken tames my frizz all day long. Ringlet costs more than the sticky gel you would buy at the store but it is well worth the money and a little goes a long way. A MUST NOT!!!!
Despite the rave reviews other members have given of this product, I could not disagree more. I have realyy thick curly hair. The first time I tried this product my hair looked like an absolute mess. It was all frizzy and my curls looked AWFUL. I gave it another shot a few months later and it still did not do the job for me. I just had to rinse out my hair and apply my ALL TIME FAVORITE MUST HAVE: TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Serum.
