I know they're bad for the environment, but I strongly prefer using aerosol can hairsprays than the spray. I did not like the distribution that I got from this spray top-- it was uneven and way too wet. The product was sticky and had a very strong alcohol smell. It really does freeze your hair in place, but that may not be such a good thing. Good non-aerosol hair spray
I am not a huge fan of hairsprays in general but I do have to use them sometimes and this Pual Mitchell Freeze and Shine is definitely one of the best. It adds shine and hold. totally works
yes, it adds shine. yes, it holds all day and night (literally, my sister had this on for two days and it stayed). this hairspray smells very very very good for a hairspray. it is very great for curls because its a light spray. i will say this though: i do not use it because it makes my hair crunchy. my hair type cannot handle this. i only use leave in cremes because i want soft curls. otherwise, its a great spray. i think this is one of those salon products that is actually worth the money --most aren't. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Strong Hold
This is the most heavy duty hair spray I own or have ever tried. If you are looking for a hairspray that will lock your style in place, this could be it for you. I love using this at the crown of my head when I have teased or used rollers so that the volume is held there. This is also great for up-dos. I like using this on days that I wear a sleek top knot because I know I won't get any fly aways if I've used this. Some say they wish this came in an aerosol form but I disagree. I think the traditional spray gives more control since less overall product is dispensed when you spray. For such a strong holding hairspray, this is good because you can easily use too much. One, maybe two sprays is all you need when using this because it is so strong. If you use more than that you could get helmet hair. My bottle has lasted me a very long time because this is not an everyday sort of hairspray (for me anyway). Amazingly strong
Wow! Such a great strong shiny hold!! I like the fact that this is not an aerosol - which means you pump the spray, as opposed to having a continuous stream. When I need a lot of hold, this is my number 1. Doesn't flake, dry my hair out, or smell gross. A GREAT hairspray! The hair spray held well. Paul Mitchell is a trustworthy brand. Love It!!!!
I love this hairspray! I use this hairspray right after I use my flat iron to set the look, mainly focus on the ends of my hair to get a more "piecey" look. The smell is also amazing, its nice and sweet (kinda reminds me of a watermelon jolly rancher) and doesn't have that over-powering alcohol scent.
