I have been a Redken fan forever, and used all soft for years with great results. Being that im a blonde i thought this would be a great line for me and the stylist ( who did not have blonde hair by the way) highly recommended it for me. I was excited it smelled great, and lathered so well, but within 2 days my hair got so dry and brittle. It looks so bad. I bought the shampoo & conditioner at Ulta, thinking it would be perfect for my blonde colored & highlighted hair. I can't stand how my hair feels after I wash. I feel like I can't get all the shampoo washed out and it has a greasy feel while I'm rinsing and definitely after. It seems to weigh my hair down. This is a great shampoo for color-treated blondes. It makes blonde hair brighter, even blonder, and brings out highlights and color in-between salon visits or box treatments. It makes hair soft, thick, and very manageable. If you want a shampoo/conditioner that helps minimize the eventual brassiness then keep looking. I have naturally blonde hair and am classified as a "dishwater" blonde. Even when I don't have highlights in my hair, this shampoo works great on my hair. It makes natural blonde and highlighted blonde hair glow. Redkin is rich, luxurious and it doesn't strip my hair of all of it's natural oils like so many cheap shampoos can do. I also have the Redkin Blonde conditioner but I normally use it in the winter time only since I live in a hot, humid state. During the summer, instead of using the Redkin Blonde Glam Conditioner, I prefer to use a good detangling conditioner (like Rusk) so I know that my hair won't become greasy close to my scalp once the weather gets warmer.
