My mom has very dry permed hair. This is her favorite hair gel. I would not call it GEL because this is not a typical hair gel. It is surprisingly light and not very sticky. This Round Trip defines her curls and hair bouncy. I was impressed with her before and after look. Simply awesome! I've used dozens of products for my naturally curly hair, which is usually just frizzy and icky looking without any products in it. With products in it, it either ended up weighed down, greasy, no difference at all, or sticky/crunchy/wet look (which I can't stand). Yesterday I read some good reviews regarding PM's Round Trip so decided to grab one on my way home. Tried it for the first time this morning after washing my hair, on damp hair, and wow... It's exactly what I've been looking for. Truly defined my curls without leaving it in a perpetual "wet" but crunchy look. By far one of the best products I've tried in a very long time. I was hesitant to buy this because I am typically not a fan of gel, but my hair dresser recomended it to me so I gave it a try and I am glad I did. If I put it in my hair when it is damp it gives my naturally wavy hair more definition. It leaves my hair looking and feeling soft not that hard chunky look I sometimes get with styling products. — 9 months ago

I really have no bad things to say about this product. I use the Paul Mitchell Instant Daily Moisture conditioner and the Paul Mitchell round trip on my wavy fine-medium frizzy hair and as i put in this product, i twist my waves. As i let my hair air dry, my waves are frizz FREE and VERY soft. I had just purchased the TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Boost or something but it left a weird film on my hair and i exchanged it for Round Trip. This doesn't leave me hair feeling greasy or grimy feeling. You can't even tell there is product in your hair, except for the fact that your hair is softer and not frizzy! — 2 years, 2 months ago

Makes my crazy wavy hair less crazy!

I usually straighten my hair because my "natural" texture isn't quite curly but also isn't quite uniformly wavy. It just looks like next day, slept-on curls. I didn't have much hope when I tried Round Trip but figured I had nothing to lose...and it was really pretty great! It defines my weird waves into something that looks more like nice curls. Plus it smells greats and doesn't leave my hair sticky or crunchy. Except for the scent, I can't even tell that I've used a product at all. — 3 years, 9 months ago
