smells bad but works great!

this is seriously one of the best shampoos i have ever used. the formula is so creamy and lathers very nicely. one thing i'm afraid of whenever i try a new shampoo is if it'll make my hair feel dry after i rinse. this shampoo made my hair feel SO smooth after i rinsed it out! but the downside is the smell. although it cleansed my hair very well and made it feel very hydrated, the first thing i noticed when i poured the shampoo in my hands was the smell! it smells like medicated shea butter. — 1 year ago

Could not stand the smell

Ok I just went and re-read my packet to make certain we were talking about the same product. I was expecting a lightly sweet shea smell instead I got a chemical, insecticide and a hint of body odor fragrance. I could not believe FF made a product that smelled so bad. The conditioner was the same. This was a fresh sample set I received at Walgreen last night. Sorry I can't rate the performance I was afraid the scent would still be in my hair so I added another conditioner to cover this up. I will have to find a full size bottle in the store to compare with. — 1 year ago

The best

When using this together with the Shea Butter conditioner, I can't tell you how my wavy,coarse, thick hair behaves. the frizz disappears and it's easy to comb through. I can even get my hair totally flat with my flat-iron which has been impossible with other products that claim to do the same. — 2 years, 9 months ago

I bought this shampoo (and like products from this line and the curl line) after I saw the amazing results on my daughter's hair. She once went to one of her favorite department outlet stores and cleaned them out! So I went with her to this store, bought the products, used them, and WOW. I use Fekkai products only for special occasions, however. Even though we buy from an outlet store, its still very expensive. But well worth it! It smells nice, my hair feels superb, and I'm often running my fingers through my hair. It just feels so darn good! — 2 years, 10 months ago

Feel the difference!

After hearing all about Frederick Fekkai and his amazing products i decided to give it a try. I have dry hair from all the coloring I have done so after browsing through all of the shampoos and seeing this one i decided I'd give it a try because I've had so many people tell me how great shea butter is for dry hair, and you know what... it is! I dont know if it is the shea butter or Mr. Fekkai but this shampoo is amazing. I use both the shampoo and conditioner and after using it once i could feel the difference! My hair was soft, not as coarse, and so managable! I'm going to go ahead and give this a 10 because I've tried a lot of shampoos and i think because of this one, i can finally stop trying and enjoy my new healthy/repaired hair! — 3 years, 4 months ago

Worth the money!

I have tried many shampoos over the years. Some because of advertising, some because of cost...I always went back to the Fekkai Shea butter. Just a pea size amount shampoos all of my hair, which is thick and long, and leaves it shiny, manageable and frizz free no matter if I style or let it air dry. Love the smell, not the product
