    Doesn't make hair soft

A lot of reviews say this doesn't soften hair because of the proteins... Why would anyone use a conditioner that doesn't make your hair soft? I was so let down by this product, it was too expensive for the little that it did. It doesn't smell very good either. This product is just a waste of time. — 5 months, 3 weeks ago

    Does what it claims =]

I love Paul Mitchell products and this one didn't disappoint. For everyone who is saying it left their hair dry/heavy, I think (not 100% sure) that is because it has a lot of proteins. You should follow up with a styling product, leave-in serum or some moistruizer. I have personally never experienced the dryness some people are claiming, but I also use other styling products after my showers...also wanted to say I use the liquid spray strength stuff (can't remember the name) after my showers in addition to the shampoo/conditioner and still, I do not experience dryness. :) Love, LOVE this stuff. Highly recommend. I'm going from black hair (chemically dyed, I'm a natural blonde) to blonde and this stuff is keeping my hair extremely healthy and strong. I highly recommend it for hair that gets any "abuse." ;) The only reason I didn't give this product a 10 is because I am sure I am getting the "full effect" because I use the entire "Strength" line and I do not know if this works for all hair types and I am thinking you have to use some moistruizing promise to balance out all the proteins. However, hair is an investment and there is no one miracle product unfortuately hah...love this stuff. — 2 years, 8 months ago

    my first love

the super strong shampoo and conditioner was my introduction to paul mitchell hair care. I must say i owe my strong gorgeous curly shiny soft hair to the super strong line. When i started working as a receptionist at the paul mitchell school, my hair was really dry, frizzy, fried and breaking from flatiorning it daily. I bought the 2 for 25 litres of the super strong, and i was surprised! i didnt actually expect it to mend my split ends, or make my hair any less frizzy- but it DID! it was smooth and beautiful. I could wear my hair curly again. It was so healthy and gorgeous. i HIGHLY reccomend this product. — 3 years, 2 months ago

    Does not impress me.

Since i straighten my hair everyday i was reccomended this by the Ulta hairdresser. It's suppose to make your hair strong for day to day heat and color abuse. I have to say this is not exactly the best one i've ever used. It dries out my hair (due to the proteins maybe)and i don't really feel like my hair is getting any better or feels like its strengthning. I bought the big 30$ bottle and I've bought better quality conditioner that does was it says for that amount of money. I don't feel like this lives up to its claims. I can't wait til i'm out of this to try somthing else. I'm not going to buy again. I will say smells nice though! — 3 years, 5 months ago

    This stuff is great!

I wouldn't use it as a daily conditioner unless you are one of those bleached blondes but this stuff is great for those that do have chemically treated hair. I use to have platinum blonde hair and it saved my hair from being mush. I used it every day when I had blonde hair. It works the best! — 4 years, 12 months ago
