Frederic Fekkai Technician Shampoo for Dry, Damaged Hair

Between blow-drying, flat-ironing and highlighting, my hair is so very pissed off. It has even started fighting back. To combat the straw, I enlisted Fekkai's restorative fruit cocktail -- a gentle peach-apricot-avocado shampoo that promises "abused hair" will be strengthened, protected and moisturized. The rich pink gel produces copious suds that left my hair hydrated and helped retain my highlights. After a bottle, I think I see more shine and overall willingness to participate in a hairstyle.

    Contains SULFATES! Thats BAD!!!

I went through the 8 ounce bottles of both the conditioner and the shampoo, and I found it seriously mediocre. in fact i think it caused more damage. For an EXCELLENT truly hydrating shampoo for color treated hair use L'Anza healing care sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner. Myhair went from rough with fekkai to silky smooth and soft with L'anza. I will never buy another fekkai product again. May 18, 2008, 12:55 am

    Overall a good shampoo

May 7, 2008, 11:20 am I like this shampoo, it doesn't leave my hair really shiny but it leaves it looking pretty good. It's expensive but it really is a giant bottle and will last a long time. One negative about this that applies more to the conditioner in the same line is that the bottle is very stiff plastic, which makes it hard to squeeze product out. The shampoo is thin enough to get out without too much trouble, but I can hurt my hand trying to get the conditioner out even while its still 90% full, I imagine both will be harder as the bottles empty. It smells good, the lather is great and you don't need to use much, so I am pretty happy with it May 7, 2008, 11:20 am

    LOVE!!

    by crazyone318 (15 reviews)
This stuff is AMAZING. Not only does it smell GREAT, it leaves my dried out highlighted hair smooth and soft. The only thing is that I hate paying so much for JUST the shampoo. I use this along with the conditioner and every other wash I use the 3 minute mask. June 7, 2008, 10:24 am

It looks great in the morning but by like 7 or 8 p.m. I am in need of another shower before going out because my roots get a little shiny. Enter....Technician. This Shampoo is hands down the best I've ever used .I get my hair colored dark brown, almost black, and this shampoo holds the color and keeps my grease away. I am in love! It really is with the $24 + per bottle. This blows Bumble & Bumble out of the water. November 29, 2007, 2:50 pm

Frederic Fekkai Technician Shampoo for Dry, Damaged Hair

Tried product for dry, damaged hair. I immediately noticed a keener shine, and it did help some with the dryness, but overall I was not very impressed and have used better products with greater results for less money. May 21, 2008, 1:20 am

    Not Worth It For Me

    by Bronwen (2 reviews)
I bought this shampoo and the conditioner in hopes of prolonging and moisturizing my frequently dyed hair. Instead, I found it one of the most drying shampoos I have ever used, and very expensive for such little bottles. I've found drug store shampoos that are far better. April 24, 2008, 9:37 pm

The One to Always Have in the Shower

    by Peg_Grimes (3 reviews)
I have straight highlighted hair and I love this shampoo. The smell is also amazing! While the product is expensive, I always miss it within a couple of days after running out. I feel it is totally worth the price. November 13, 2007, 5:53 am

    My Holy Grail of shampoos

    by Tbird77 (4 reviews)
If you are like me, you are always shopping for that "keeper" shampoo. This is it for me. Keeps my color vibrant and moisturizes my hair. The best shampoo out there. November 12, 2007, 1:55 pm
