Great for dry skin

I love this body wash during the dry & cold winter. It lathers outstandingly well. This creamy body wash is gentle yet cleanses great. Although the label indicates "unscented", it has a light scent. Fortunately, it does not leave a lingering scent on my skin. No itchiness or greasy residue on my skin either. Since this is quite moisturizing, I don't use this in summer; I usually use more refreshing body wash. I think this is one of the best drugstore body wash products. — 2 years, 6 months ago

Moisturizing

I thought this body wash was odd-smelling but moisturizing. It was drugstore purchase and so a bargain and it was nice for shaving my legs. The weird smell dissipates quickly and I'm left with smooth legs that don't require a lot of lotion. I'm a little confused about the reviews that mention lather. I thought the consistency was more like mayonnaise and it did not lather at all. It rinses well though and it doesn't leave film on the tub. I'm probably going to purchase a body wash that has a more pleasant smell. — 4 months ago

This is a moisturizing body wash that lathers nicely and rinses cleanly with some good ingredients in it. It does have a light soapy fragrance that Dove calls "unscented". It is not overpowering and perfumy like Dove's other products and the fragrance is on the bottom of the ingredient list. This body wash is also pretty inexpensive. Love the lotion!

I really love Dove products, specially their lotions. This one has a pretty amazing texture and it is not oily, which is very important for me when it comes to picking out a body lotion. It smells wonderfully and the smell lingers long after you have applied it. For such great quality, this lotion is not expensive at all. I've spent a lot of time looking for a body wash that actually felt good on my skin and didn't irritate it. While my face and neck are oily the rest of my skin is more on the dry side and being as fair skinned as I am, thanks to my redheaded mother, I have pretty sensitive skin. This has been the first body wash I've used that makes me feel clean, doesn't strip my skin dry and leaves me feeling moisturized like I put on lotion. I bought this hoping to find a body wash that would make my skin stop flaking off in the winter. It does a pretty good job, but it's not as gentle as I would like. Even though it's for sensitive skin, it has SLS in it which is a pretty harsh ingredient. And it claims to be fragrance free, but there is a light perfume-y fragrance that doesn't smell like it comes from the ingredients, so that's a little confusing to me. I won't say that it dries me out at all, but I don't really feel like it's especially hydrating. My next step is to find something truly fragrance free without the SLS. — 1 year, 2 months ago
