Editor Review
Nothing replaces regular trips to your colorist, but this between-salon touch-up sure tries. Its color effect is barely noticeable, but the shine boost is a deep-conditioner fake-out. Although the gentle ingredient mix makes it safe to use frequently, even without harsh ammonia or peroxide, it still manages to smell terrible. And the fine-haired might find the silicone too weighty. One bummer: The six shades cover blondes, redheads and brunettes, but you're out of luck if you have black hair.

Shiny New Hair
by Woostergraph (7 reviews)My hair was in a slump! Dull, drab and lifeless. I thought I'd try this product and boy am I glad I did! It's like having a new head of hair. So shiny and full, it almost looks longer. Even my husband noticed a difference and that's a hard thing to do. I couldn't stop touching it. I highly recommend this if you want... to boost your color and give more life to your hair. My highlights popped while my darker tones warmed . I gret value I think! Its pretty good
by rain1331 (15 reviews)I really didn't know about it the 1st couple times using it??? I stuck with it to give a chance and it really does what they say. My hair was definitly a lot shiner and healthier looking. Not to mention a lot less frizzy in our humid Alabama climates LOL!!! If you buy it give it a few uses before you decide I think like me ...you will see a nice diffrence in your hair. The smell is the only thing I have a complain about it's not bad, but not good like we want our hair to smell. Nothing a spritz of purfume won't help though... Blonde is good but brown - not so much
by compugirl (2 reviews)I absolutly loved the fact when I used the blonde it looked so nice on my brown hair. But now if I use the brown, on my brown hair I dislike it cause it always stains my hands and my head. It does smell very chemically, and I know I will not buy the honey brown glaze anymore. On the other hand I really enjoyed the blonde ...on my brown hair as it seemed to add nice sparkly highlights. April 21, 2008, 5:49 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Eh... some drawbacks.
by jeancbrown (8 reviews)I suppose this does work to subtly enhance color, though the effect is... well, subtle. I find that for my fine hair I have to re-shampoo after using the glaze, otherwise it leaves my hair greasy. The smell is also a put-off, and it has even left marks on my towel (esp. if I don't re-shampoo). I am trying Lush's "Ma...rilyn" after reading rave reviews on Lush's site. I'll write a review on it for totalbeauty after I've tried it!! March 23, 2008, 4:40 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Bright not Brassy
by Kari42001 (3 reviews)Finding products that freshen my color without looking brassy are difficult to find. My natural light blond hair gets hard water build up and dulls the color. This product helps brighten my hair, reducing the dullness caused by hard water. My hair looks healthier but does not look bleached. It keeps it shiny and natural.... I recommend the product for natural blonds looking for a way to keep hair looking shiny and bright without looking bleached. Since it gradually lightens there is little worry of over doing it. Should work better for smelling so bad!
by amygdala (30 reviews)I used a whole bottle of this over a month or two and although it did provide a little color "pick-me-up" it wasn't worth the mess and SMELL. Since I have long hair, it would sometimes drip and if you don't wipe it off really quickly it can stain your shower liner. It also stains your skin - I have to use an exfol...iant to get rid of the stain on my hands. It's also not easy to apply to the back of your hair with its wide mouth and long shape. I won't use it again. January 1, 2008, 4:01 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Good in between color
by Kate (28 reviews)Trusted ReviewI highlight my hair in order to mask grays and I notice that when the grays are growing in, using this stuff definitely helps. This is probably because I only have a few grays here and there, and the brown dye makes them look "blonde," but still, it helps. It also makes my hair shiny and adds color to the highli...ghts. I have to be careful not to use it too much, though, or my golden highlights start to look a little orange. But 2-3 x/week is fine. The only drawbacks are that it takes awhile to apply in the shower and is kind of messy. It also stains my scalps brown slighly right after using it, but I suppose being a dye that is unavoidable! This stuff smells like paint thinner!!!!
by jessicablues (3 reviews)Eww. This stuff smells like paint thinner or something. It's terrible. After a single use I threw it away. What a waste of money!!!! November 29, 2007, 2:16 pm3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Great for extending color between salon visits
by jfloyd (2 reviews)I have dark brown hair that is graying in wide streaks. My stylist and I have come up with a look that works for me, leaving the streaks but adding blonde highlights on the top of my hair over my entire scalp. I love it, but as my hair grows out, the blonde can start to fade and my brown roots start to show. This produc...t really saves the look for a couple of weeks by adding a nice gloss and just enough blonde to look like I've spent the day in the say. It's not permanent, but I have found it gentle enought to use several times a week. And you can't beat the low price - much cheaper than a trip to the salon.
