    ColorStay Under Eye Concealer

    by Susan1221 (38 reviews)

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews for this concealer?! My undereye area is very dry and most concealers either don't cover enough or emphasize the fine lines too much - hello Laura Mercier! - so this was a great find for me at a fraction of the price of the high-end concealers I've been using. I found Light-Medium... to be the perfect color with a slight peach undertone that color-corrects my brownish grey circles perfectly. The coverage isn't heavy or opaque but it isn't too sheer either. Gives just enough coverage and when used over a rich eye cream, this doesn't settle into lines which makes it a star in my book! I'm very pleased and would definitely repurchase. A decent concealer

I am constantly on the hunt for a good undereye concealer. I picked this one up because it was on sale and I like Revlon's Colorstay foundation. I have to say that I have no strong feelings about this one. It is a pretty good concealor (I don't have major dark circles), it is fairly long-wearing and the applicator is kind ...of neat. If it wasn't slightly drying I would probably like it more. Also, you don't get a lot of product in the tube. It's just alright. May 27, 2008, 11:10 am

    Love this--stays put! Looks natural!

    by kbfenner (1 review)
I have bought more concealers than I can count, including the system from Bobbi Brown with the matching setting powder and a color cancelling booster--and they all settle into the very fine lines. I have oily skin and the kind of under eye circles that are part from just a sunken place and part from thin pale skin--not the ...kind with actual dark skin, so your results may vary, but I love this. I have one at home and one in my bag. It's not intended for blemishes, and I wouldn't recommend it for them, I think there is a bit of shimmer in it. June 3, 2009, 2:49 pm

Colorstay was the key word for me...hoping it would stay on longer.

    by elaine1959 (8 reviews)
It is a decent concealer except there is not a lot of it. I found I ran out of it very quickly as compared to other concealers. The tube is deceiving. So for the money, I would buy another brand that gave me more concealer and the same longer coverage. October 25, 2007, 11:50 am

    Great Concealer/Eye Primer

    by TeliahNaShonia (3 reviews)
Concealer is typically used to cover-up used for colorations in the skin like veins, dark circles and un-even skin tones. The best concealer will brighten and lighten dark areas, erase spots and even out skin tones. Under eye concealers, can be used under foundation or on their own. But did you know that concealer can work... as eye primers to?? Apply a small dab of concealer on the tip of your finger before you apply your eyeshadow and your color will stay & last all day. key to using concealer as a primer is not to apply to much or your will see some creasing. So whenever you buy an concealer think outside the box cuz u can use it on different areas of your face. You can also use concealer to lighten up your brow bone area before applying your highlight color of your choice. The quality of this under eye concealer is awesome and it did live up to what it claims. September 4, 2009, 2:19 am

Revlon is usually better than this

    by Supernaturalfan (30 reviews)
I only got this because a better concealer I've been using (Maybelline's Age Rewind Double Face Perfector) didn't have enough concealer, but I wanted to use up the highlighter part of it before opening a new tube , so I needed another concealer in the meantime. It also got a good review from Paula Begoun, the "Cosmeti...cs Cop". I agree with other members that it doesn't cover what it is supposed to conceal, and there's little product in it as well. I like the applicator and texture (though a bit thick), but it takes several turns to get it to dispense. Then, it's often too much. It covers up my brown spots pretty well, but it settled into my lines right away...something it is not supposed to do! I thought since it's for the under eye area that it would definitely not settle into my lines. But it did, just drawing attention to them. I've tried it both over and under foundation, and neither option looks right. I will not get this again. Revlon is usually good, but I was really disappointed with this one. Doesn't stay on long enough

    by Joyce0607 (2 reviews)
Maybe it was because I have a combination of oily/normal skin so the coverage wasn't as good as I expected. At mid-day I noticed my dark circles were becoming more and more visible. But one thing I liked was how moisturized it was. If you're going for a long lasting concealer, this might not be the best choice August 13, 2009, 3:02 pm

    The BEST.

    by kawatkins (2 reviews)
I have VERY dark under eye circles (genetics...thanks Mom!), and this concealer stays for a long time (I noticed it started fading off after about 10 hours) on my oily skin, it does not settle into lines, and it has good coverage. It looks pretty natural too- not super yellow or cakey. The only complaint I have is that the ...tube is too small, and I go through the product quickly because I use it almost daily. It was a great purchase! August 4, 2009, 12:22 pm

    Not BAD but SATISFACTORY

    by starstuddedchic (3 reviews)
this concealer covers up well with FAINT blemishes like pimple scars and stuff but as for marks that are VERY NOTICEABLE you should hunt for another something better...i got this because i was in a hurry and really wasn't choosy at the time for whatever brand I picked, but I was pretty impressed for this to work well coming... from Revlon as this was my first time using something from this brand. Avoid this product....

    by dawnlaroche (31 reviews)
This is a waste of money. The concealer does not cover anything up. I had to use a secondary concealer on top of this every time I used it. Did not cover dark circles, redness, or blemishes. A little bit dry as well. Not worth it at all! December 26, 2008, 2:14 am
