    REVLON COLORSTAY ACTIVE LIGHT MAKEUP

    by TiffanyHess (6 reviews)
I have very oily skin and this stayed nice without looking to made up. The sunscreen of 25 is awesome. Works well under a light dusting of powder for more coverage. Almost works like a tinted moisturizer without all the oil. Which is nice for us oily faced people. December 14, 2007, 11:34 am

    LoVe this!

    by titano (10 reviews)
I didn't wear foundation for 10+ years because I had given up hope with my oversized pores being super noticed when I used foundations. But a coworker of mine suggested Color-Stay Active, so I tried it. And I won't leave the house without it. It does stay on all day, it doesn't rub off on clothes, you won't feel like you're... wearing foundation! I love this product. And the best part it camouflages my pores. I just apply powder and go. Lives up to its expectations...

I have repurchased this foundation 3 times, so that says a lot. I wear 02 Buff Chamois, and it matches my fair/ slightly medium skintone very well. It is not orangy, but just very natural looking. It blends very well, without looking cakey. I would say the coverage is medium/light. I get pimples though and have imperfection...s and it does a decent job at covering them up without looking like I am wearing foundation. I will repurchase. Plus it has SPF 25...great for summer. Best foundation for oily skin

    by ciaragirl (12 reviews)
I have oily skin and this foundation is one of the best I've tried. Do not use this if you have dry skin. It has a full-spectrum sun-screen which means I do not have to put on a sun-screen under this make-up. That's a plus for someone with oily skin. February 23, 2008, 11:24 am

Foundation that actually lives up to its promises

    by moonchild (5 reviews)
I spent years looking for the right foundation for my skin type, but no matter what I tried nothing seemed to work. I have combination skin with a t-zone that perspires rather easily. The original Colorstay foundation was too cakey on my face and I had a difficult time finding a shade that truly matched my skin tone. Colors...tay active is marketed as a sweat-proof foundation, and I have to say I've been happy with the results. The foundation blends nicely with my natural skin tone, it goes on light but its full coverage lasts all day. This foundation evens out my complexion and provides the perfect base for the rest of my make-up. August 31, 2008, 2:56 pm

Best for coverup everyday plus spf!

    by shifty (3 reviews)
I use this almost like a tinted moisturizer. I t's so versatile and you don't notice it after you put it on. It just looks like my face only better and more radiant. Definitely don't cake it on or it gets a little too hard to rub in and starts to look fake. June 1, 2008, 7:57 pm

    Hard to Blend...

    by mrswesty (8 reviews)
Although I like a sheer, lightweight coverage, this is not the foundation for me. The coverage is light, but the consistency is quite heavy. And after using this make-up, I found it difficult to completely remove using my normal cleansing routine. Worse yet, I have broken out both times after wearing it. It is very diff...icult to apply this make-up with a light hand - it is thick yet it seems to dissapear on your skin - it does not go very far. Not a keeper, that is for sure. May 2, 2008, 5:21 am

yet another foundation i've bought, used a couple of times, and then had to throw away because its so awful! The consistency is awful. i was having a 'natural' day so i tried applying a dab of this onto my freshly exfoliated and moisturised skin, hoping it would even out my complexion a little bit. a few hours later, its s...o cakey it looks like i have a severe dry skin problem. coverage is non existent. a complete waste of money. not the greatest but it works

    by jaquelyn (3 reviews)
if you need a light almost tinted lotion foundation than this is for you. i like alittle more color especially on my cheeks since they sunburn easily. didnt quite work for my complexion but maybe for someone who wants a sheer makeup. December 24, 2007, 9:31 pm

good coverage for a light makeup

    by LovinMascara (2 reviews)
This is a great foundation if you are lookin for light-med coverage but yet want something that feels light on your face. It offers decent coverage and spf which is a must these days. i haven't broke out from this & im combo/oily (depending on the season). November 30, 2007, 3:09 pm
