  An absolute must!

  I finally broke down and tried this foundation after years of buying many other brands and breaking my bank, not to mention dealing with cakiness, settling into lines and oily t-zone shine. This won me over in all of those categories. I would venture to say that this is the best foundation I have used, period. This found...ation is easily smoothed on and blended seamlessly into my skin. The coverage is flawless and it has staying power all day, even into evening. I used it over my moisturizer and combined it with ColorStay Power for an velvety soft complexion. I love them both!   THE BEST **MUST READ**

  When i first tried liquid foundation i used to use 'L'oreal Truse Match' which i thought was ok at the moment, until i'd go out and everything that touch'd my face, the make-up would rub off on, i was even scared to hug my bf cuz my face would end up on his shirt. And it made my skin very oily. But then i finally tried this... make-up and it was a HUGE differance. It last practically ALL day, wont rub off, never looks cakey, and covers everything i want. And with the soft flex it goes on smooth, for best application i would recommend using a makeup sponge. But the ultimate test was when i went out to a club and danced all night and sweated alot, i was out all night. But when i finally got home and looked in the mirror (i was scared to cuz i tought my make-up would be gone) i was in such a shock, my face looked the exact same way it did from when i first put it on.   not ideal for oily skin

  This product originally impressed me because it was specific for combination/oily skin types and although my skin is not extremely oily it is prone to a little shine. The consistincy of the product was appealing, however it did not blend very well on my face. Although I had hoped that this product would keep my face matte t...hroughout the day, I was dissapointed. My not-incredibly-oily skin was quite shiny before the day's end In conclusion, I would not recommend this prodcut for people with even slightly oily complexions. February 25, 2008, 6:03 pm

  This is my favorite...definitely my HG

  I use nothing else. I bought it about a month ago after purchasing a $48 foundation that I didn't like at all. This is reasonable and does what it says. I can put it on at 7am, work all day, go to happy hour and still have a flawless finish by the time I get home. I live in Houston and it is very humid, so the face gets oil...y pretty much no matter what you do. This is the closes I can find to minimizing that. June 10, 2008, 3:36 pm

  NOT TOO GOOD

  BEING AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN, IT IS HARD TO FIND THE RIGHT FOUNDATION FOR THIS TYPE OF SKIN "OVER THE COUNTER." WAS IN A BIND AND BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT IN COLOR MOCHA. COLOR WAS PERFECT BUT THE OVERALL USE FOR NORMAL ACTIVITY WAS NOT GOOD. IT LEFT MINOR BURNS/SPLOTCHES ON MY FACE. WHEN THE FOUNDATION WAS WASHED OFF, I ...COULD PEAL SKIN OFF MY FACE.   Love It!

  This foundation stays put until you wash it off. I have an oily T zone and this foundation stays on my skin. This foundation also makes my skin look flawless. December 19, 2007, 2:26 pm

  For something that touts itself as a long wearing foundation, this one's pretty easy to blend. When set with powder, I think it does a better than average job of controlling oil, though alone, it can become pretty oily and average looking. June 2, 2008, 3:39 am

  Change is not good!!

  I've used this poduct for over 10 years and i wouldn't use anything else!!! Until they added the soft flex....I don't like it as well, but after trying other products and not being able to get the old makeup without softflex it is still my choice brand.....Just wish they'd bring back the old for those of us who aren't into ...the whole softflex thing!!!   great oil control

  Although I have never found or heard of a product that keeps ALL the oil away ALL day..this is pretty good. My skin is no longer oily by noon. It does need to be applied fairly quickly though so I mix it with my moisturizer in my hand and then apply. It seems to go on better and I was going to use the moisturizer anyway. So...metimes I need to use an oil blotter sheet mid afternoon if it's been hot outside. Good product is you have more than a minute or two to blend and apply. May 19, 2008, 4:53 pm

  Loved it but..

  I loved and still love ColorStay because it did not rub off on my clothing and hands. Unfortunately, the last time they changed the formula, the color I used to use had a color change and now it does not match my skin tone. I had to stop used it. That made me sad because I'd been using it for a while and then I had to fi...nd another kind of makeup that rubs off. Oh well... May 16, 2008, 6:24 am
