A Waste of Money!

I had tried Bare Minerals and it was expensive and the coverage left a lot to be desired. I decided to try Loreal's Mineral line and I did not like any of the products, and this product I liked least of all. This "concealer" does not like to stay on your skin much less on blemishes or under eyes. This concealer does not apply evenly (even with my own brush) and it covers nothing. I did try this with a primer and had no luck. I have combination skin and this concealer clung to my dry skin, and melted off my oily spots. If you like mineral products, Bare Minerals Bisque (concealer) should still be your first choice. I am not impressed with this foundation...Overall I think that my skin doesn't look good when I use mineral makeup and this was no exception! I hate that it doesn't apply evenly on my face,some parts are more covered than others,complexion seems very uneven,just like I have spots on my face. L'Oreal's Mineral Foundation has a very light and airy texture and applies smoothly and evenly to the skin. Coverage is light at best and seems to provide coverage that is slightly heavier than that of a loose powder. Instead of the brush that is included with the container, use a regular powder brush or a brush specifically created for the application of mineral powder foundation. I initially bought L’Oreal Paris Bare Naturale Mineral Foundation a few years ago. I found that there were some good things, and some bad things about this foundation. I really liked it because the foundation itself was very light. I loved the brush because it allows you to load the right amount of mineral foundation that you need, and with this foundation, a little really does go a long way. I also liked that it was very blend-able. The mineral foundation goes on evenly and pretty easily. I would definitely stress that it is very important to clean the brush on the cap at least once a week, as with any makeup brushes that you use. I also liked that this makeup doesn’t seem to sink into my pores and it is very easy to get your skin clean after using it. This makeup does not adequately cover blemishes or any other skin issues, but again, it is a foundation, not a concealer. If you use the matching concealer, they work very well together. Another issue with this makeup is that your skin has to be smooth and well moisturized before applying it; otherwise it gives the look of older looking, dry skin. Overall, you get what you pay for, and this product is on the higher end of drugstore foundations, so it does work pretty well, IF you prep your skin before using it, because if you don’t, the mineral foundation will accentuate flaws in your skin. So basically, if you are looking for an easy to use, blend-able, and light makeup, this is going to work well for you. This mineral foundation also leaves your skin with a flawless appearance, if you use it correctly and put time into applying this foundation. not an off coverage

This foundation made my skin look dry and old, and it does not give an off coverage.
