L'Oréal Paris True Match Naturale Blush Reviews

Save your money
The brush on this is crappy, the colors come out much darker than expected, the product clumps and is difficult to blend. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Brush is rough
The brush that comes with this is stiff and rough, so I use this product with my softer silkier brush. However the color seem to be not as concentrated as the real mineral powders, so I didn't get the same rosy effect. The amount is hard to control, as sometimes you get too much out, and sometimes too little out. The container is too bulky for carrying around as well. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Ugh
The blush is extremely messy. It's not something I would want to use for a touch-up away from my bathroom mirror, and forget about a quick application in the car. The design of the packaging is just awful. At some point the blush must have gotten tipped upside down, and now the majority of the blush is on top of the plastic grate that separates it from the the lower portion of the container, and unlike a bare minerals package, I can't get the powder to shake back down to the lower compartment. Because I have a big mound of blush on top of the grate, I have no place to swirl and tap the brush. I've owned other powder products where the brush screws down into the container, allowing for a shallow lid that can be used for brush tapping and swirling, but this lid goes over the brush, leaving a gap between the brush and the top of the lid- in other words, you can't use the lid for tapping/swirling. I have to use my bathroom counter instead. I have light skin with olive undertones and in other L'oreal products wear W3. I bought the shade soft rose 488 of the Bare Naturale blush and on me it looks like a very very soft dust pink, with a little shimmer. Nothing to write home about in terms of shade-in fact it barely shows up on me. The blush doesn't wear very long on me, after about two hours it's gone, and since I can't reapply once I've left the house that's really a problem. I would also say the texture is a bit chalky- it doesn’t blend into my foundation as well as some other powder blushes I’ve used, it kind of just sits on top of my other make-up. The only plus I would give to this product it’s brush, which is much thicker than many that come packaged with other blushes. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Love it
This is pretty much the only blush that gives me the perfect everyday shade; most shades I find are too light and don't show up on my olive, darker skin tone or else are mush too dramatic for everyday use. It doesn't even really look like makeup when it's on but rather like a natural flush. It has great staying power so be careful of how much you put on because it can be a bit of a pain to lighten if you put on too much (but you can fix it by applying a thin layer of foundation powder over it). It isn't at all heavy even though it lasts the whole day and despite being a powder it does not dry me out at all. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Barely Okay
I have a hard time finding blushes that do what I need them to but this one did not solve my prbolem. Nice finish and colors but putting it on is a pain-not sure who designed the package/jar but they messed up-mess is also what you get if you try to hard with this stuff but if you don't you do not get enough coverage. I think a redesign of the package would be a big help-not sure the coverage and lasting time is enough for people who sweat but it would be a start. For now, I'm finished with it. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

UGH
I got this product because it looked easy to use. In the morning, I'm usually in a rush and like my products to be fast and long-lasting. I figured having the brush attached would save a step. The brush is sooooo rough and hurts the skin. It feels like it's literally stabbing you each time you apply the blush. The bush is attached to the cover of the blush. The product also sticks a lot to the back side of the brush. (It doesn't work like the old Neutrogena mineral blushes that you tapped the product through the brush to use.) The product would get everywhere and it's not even that pigmented. It would settle in the weirdest places on my face. I ended up giving the product away. — 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Wonderful soft glow
Worn alone or over Bare Naturale foundation, this product is a natural look-you'll need a little practice so that you don't apply too much and blending once and then again is very important. This is a good product that does not cause breakouts; I have only puchased two different shades but found both of them leave a soft natural glow. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
