Rose Quartz for subtle but sexy toenails
Mrs_Ed (9 reviews)I've been polishing my toenails with CG in Rose Quartz for so long I hardly recognize my feet without it. Applies easily, long wearing and a great value for just the right amount of shimmer. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

pretty good
ohtheinsanity (5 reviews)pros- you don't need to fuss with a top coat (I'm still putting a base coat, I'm not trying to stain my nails over time) -long lasting Cons- colors are kind of limited to popular colors, so no new cool funky colors Bottom line- if you're looking for a red or pink color, this is a great option. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

beautiful colors, reasonable prices
Pussykat (42 reviews)AFA nail polish prices go, Cover Girl is a good price, relatively. CG is doing lots of things right. Why else be in the business successfully as they have? I'd buy CG nail polishes again and again. I have 4 bottles in my collection. I also like to "make" my own colors--these mix well. For ex., 1/2 a bottle of red and 1/2 white give me a new shade. It's probably not suggested, but I've added a few drops of nail polish remover to old, almost empty bottles of nail polish and stretched them out for a few more manicures. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

10 Best Nail Polishes -
I guess they're trying to keep up...
pcomsec (5 reviews)I am a nail polish junkie. After careful consideration and much soul searching, I must also admit that yes, I am also a nail polish wh*re. Why? Because I buy whatever shade of nail polish strikes my fancy, brand be-damned (except Almay because whatever in it that makes it hypo-allergenic, also does not allow it to fully dry). Also, because if I have not bought a new bottle in a week or 2, I start getting antsy and “have†to go to the drugstore. Those things to me are clearly signs of a junkie/whore. Now I am not normally a fan of Cover Girl makeup. In fact, in amongst my 42 bottles of nail polish (yes, I counted) were only 2 bottles of Cover Girl - both reddish shades. And though beautiful reddish shades they were, but that got me thinking. Why did I have only reddish shades? So at lunch today, I went to my local Rite Aid and checked out the Cover Girl nail polish selection. At first I had a hard time finding the Cover Girl nail polishes. They were kind of hidden in amongst the other nail polishes. Cover Girl is just kind of blah. And the colors, well pretty colors they were, but nothing that really jumped out at me. The colors were what my mom would wear - pretty pinks, some reds, some tans, you get the picture - neutral colors. (That is probably why I had no greens or purples or oranges in Cover Girl, or more than 2 bottles.) But does the polish itself work, meaning does it last and not chip? Yes, and even though they say it's 3 in 1. I still do the old base coat, 2 color coats and top coat. Why? Cause that's just the way I was raised. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

One step polish and your done!
Adenamoon (60 reviews)I LOVE this polish just for the simple fact that it's got all three steps in one bottle. Base coat, color and top coat, and you don't have to wait or worry about it. Doesn't chip easily, as long as you let it completely dry before doing any activity. — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
