Color and Protection
I love these color tints because they add a slight amount of color and have sun protectant for wearing all day. This is the perfect lip balm for summer because it comes in a variety of colors and adds just a little shimmer. Good for those looking for a lipstick.
I bought this thinking it would be a type of tinted balm--boy was I surprised when I tried out the 'pink' shade Berry. It's very opaque just like a lipstick, and a bit waxy. It's a nice colour, though, but not quite what I was looking for. I wouldn't say it moisturizing but it's not terribly dry either. The SPF is good, though and I love Aveda's business ethics and commitment to the environment. It has a nice rosy scent and a minty taste. It lasts for a few hours, and I highly recommend that you try out the colour in the store before purchasing. Lucious Lips
This is a wonderful lip balm and a very good lip color. It moisurizes and prevents flaking of color and leaves lips really soft. There are some great colors too-they are just lighter than they appear on the tube cover. That is type of tinted lip balm though. Love this - but Aveda killed it
This was my favorite product from Aveda. Mosturizing, SPF, it's not 'girly lipstick' (not cool when I hike, go boarding, or at the beach or pool). It's like chap stick but with a nice subtle color. Too bad Aveda screwed it up (probably some suit sitting behind a desk) and decided to discontinue it. They call it 'reformulated' - but they took out the sunscreen (wtf?!?! WHAT IDIOT TAKES OUT THE SUNSCREEEN?) and put it in a skinny tube so it's more like lipstick. If I wanted lipstick I would buy one of the hundreds they already make. Missing Currant - But Still a Good Lip Tint
I used to really like Aveda's Lip Tint in Currant, which looked kind of dark and purple-red in the container, but went on very sheer and pretty, but that color was discontinued. I have the lip tint in Berry and Peony which are both okay, but neither one is quite as good as Currant. I like this product but don't love it; I'm really picky about lip tint and this delivers a little bit too much color for me and sits a little to heavily on my lips (rather than absorbing). And it doesn't replace my all time favorite lip tint, L'Occitane Shea Butter Lip Balm in Blackberry (also discontinued). Kinda waxy

Just the perfect tint!
This is one product I always keep in my bag because I love the subtle tint it gives. I have one in Apricot which naturally enhances my lip coloring without looking like it's painted on. Great for daytime wear when you want just a flush of color to your lips. As an added bonus, it has a sunscreen it it which is very important to me.
