I had itchy skin once from a dirty rug and this cream helped minimized my irritation. It has the consistency of a cream, so it doesn't feel like medication, just like any other cream. It even moisturized my skin! I can say that it helps with minor problems. I don't go without it!
At times I really suffer from irritated skin and before I found this Aveeno anti-itch cream, I just went from product to product trying everything to find some relief without any success. Once I found this, I don't have any worries if skin irritation pops up. If you use this when a spot first begins, you may have overnight relief. It will even help a stubborn inflammation given time, and it will take the itch away immediately. I use this for myself and my 7 year old sons mosquito bites.. My son has sensitive itchy skin on the the back of his arms and it moisturizes and takes the itch away immediately. It smells like noxema and has a very slight cooling tingling feel and calms the skin. I feel comfortable using aced no on my son, it's been a staple in my bathroom since he was a baby. Aveeno Anti Itch Cream
I liked this product. I use it on my hives and it relieved the itching and even burning sensation. I only had to apply once and it took care of the problem. It wasn't greasy but I did feel a little sticky. The smell wasn't to strong either. If Mama ain't happy...
I discovered this when reading the list of Aveeno reviews. My mom has sensitive, itchy skin and can't get a timely appointment with a dermatologist. She tried Benadryl Cream and regular Hydrocortisone to no avail, so I figured it would be a small investment if it could provide some relief. She said that it does help to relieve her itching, doesn't have a bad smell, and has a nice consistency.
