Feels great going on and gives fantastic results

My skin thanks me after I've used this mask. It feels like a face cream almost going on, and it doesn't tighten as much as most but it does get firmer. You rinse it off and your skin just looks radiant. I LOVE this product and think everyone should have it for those stressed out days you just need to relax and do some at home spa treatments.

Product Review of Aveda Tourmaline Charged Radiance Masque

I applied the masque to my face, covered my face with warm towels that I had warmed in the microwave, and my brainwaves those loveable, little endorphins. I know there are a lot of good masques on the market, but I would definitely use Aveda's Tourmaline Masque again. It doesn't have the tightening effect of other that I have used but it leaves your skin smooth and hydrated.

Great mini facial

I bought this mask around the time of my wedding after scheduling a series of three facials leading up to the wedding. I would use the mask in between facials. It was great! It kept my skin in tune with benefits I received from my facials. It uses natural ingredients so I feel extra safe about leaving it on my face and afterwards you feel clean and refreshed. However, I would definitely use the ma...read moresk in conjunction with a facial. When I stopped getting regular facials, the mask didn't seem to be able to work the same ways. So, for optimal results my recommendation would be to use it with regular facial. Still, it is a great mask and I still use it outside of facials and it works great.

one of my favorite masques

goes on so smoothly and comes off well--not goopy and heavy like a lot of masques. definitely brightens and leaves my skin SO smooth. i'd give it a higher rating if i felt it had a good tightening effect, too.

A Home Spa Treat, but Don't Expect a Miracle

I used the Aveda Tourmaline Charged Radiance Masque once a week for several months. It has a nice, somewhat exfoliating texture, and it doesn't overdry the skin like some masks can. If you like to feel like you're pampering yourself and getting an at-home spa experience, this is a good product. However, it didn't seem to give me any special "glow" or refine my pores at all as I had hoped...read more it would. My experience has been that only a professional peel can really give me that effect, not an at-home mask.

Heaven!

This is a must have product. I have most of the Aveda Tourmaline line and I love every one of them. This masque is creamy and gentle, it leaves my face feeling velvety soft, is very light weight, and easily washes off. Worth every cent!

So Many Ways to Use It!

I recently started a new skin regimen and the bulk of the products are Aveda. My esthetician is an Aveda instructor---she has formulated a regimen that truly works for me. I get monthly facials by her but at home my regimen includes on occassion. I use it combat hyperpigmenation marks left after blemishes---it enables the skin to turn over faster so the scarring is minimal. Had my esthetician not explained how to use it best---I wouldnt have known---it really works for me.

Definate difference

Unlike some masks (when you can hardly tell if you've applied anything at all) this really gave my skin a bright glow. The next morning I still noticed a healthy glow and "brighter" clear skin.
