OK stain
TBjunkie (678 reviews)I like this best on my lips, not cheeks. It's not the best lip stain but ok for the affordable price. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain
lesa5363 (347 reviews)I like multi-purpose products, I like versatility. As far as this being a good cheek color, I was just not at all impressed. It went all splotchy and weird and dried too quickly to even blend it out, yuck. Now this product as a lip stain, I found it to work very well for my lips. It didn't dry too fast for me to get good even coverage on my lips. I tried wearing it alone, and it kind of left my lips dry looking, but when I applied a clear gloss, I found it more to my liking, and it looked really natural and wore very well as long as I kept a layer of clear gloss over it. I have also used it under lip color and I don't have to continually touch up my lip stick when I wear this under it. The lip stain base makes it difficult to see where your lipstick may be wearing off, and that is a bonus for me. I give this a 7 because it doesn't really perform well as a cheek stain, but it is okay as far as a lip stain. I like the doe foot applicator, and the tube is nice, it is transparent, you can see just how much is in the tube. I like the formulation too, the product doesn't tunnel in the tube as some other products in tubular containers. I don't have to use a lot of product to get good results on my lips, a tube lasts me quite a long time, so it is easy on the wallet. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Decent lip stain, nice for a subtle glow on cheeks.
TwoBirds (284 reviews)I picked up the lip and cheek stain in a duo package. One side had the stain and the other had a lip gloss. The crimson that comes in a full-size package is nice but really red. A tiny dot blended into the cheeks gives a nice natural pink glow and sets well with a brushing of powder. For the lips I'm not quite sold. It is an okay base for lipstick, but I prefer a good lip liner. With a coating of gloss it looks nice but by the end of the day parts rub off and it doesn't have the same even finish and ease of application as a good quality lipstick. It also doesn't layer well so if you don't like the color of the initial layer or two you probably won't get the results you want. My other duo had a brownish stain which I LOVE on my cheeks. I use it when I don't want to wear make-up but want to give my face a glow. I wish the Body Shop would come out with a full size of that color! — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Can't live without it!
jacki_oquias_o (4 reviews)I have been using this since it was in a previous formula. It used to be more water based than gel. So it was thinner. Everything seems to be the same. It gives me a healthy glow. I have used a different blush for a while and went back to this. I use this everyday, makes me look fresh and doesn't make me look so washed out. I also put this on after a serum, moisturizer and then sunscreen. After I rub this in, I apply my mineral powder or pressed powder. A little goes a long way, so do not put too much. Try to experiment on how you want to look. And you will eventually know how much you need. I usually use less than 1 drop for both cheeks. — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Sexy stain
NurseAshley (3 reviews)I really love this stain from The Body Shop. I have had the same tube for over a year and have not run out. It looks great on your lips and you can layer extra if you want it to be more bold. It also looks very natural on your cheeks. People cannot tell that you are wearing blush but think you just have a "glow". — 1 year, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

It would've been nice if they had other color selection
cheetah11 (154 reviews)The crimson color this lip/cheek stain comes in looks good for night-time but a bit too intense for ME during daytime. While I love the idea of an all in one lip and cheek color that comes in a stain form, I'm almost afraid to use this color on my cheeks. On lips it looks okay but on the cheeks, it's a bit too red for my taste. If you're wanting a more subtle, natural look, one coat is all you need. For cheek application, I found it easier to first dab it on and blend with my fingers. The color is also buildable if you prefer a more dramatic pigment but for me, this stain is better suited for nightime use. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

THIS IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT!
abudweiser (1 reviews)i went into the body shop about three years ago and came across this product randomly.. i fell in love with it but at the time i was running late so i didnt get a chance to buy it... but next time i made sure when i went to the body shop i would go get it because i felt it was an essential product my makeup regime was missing. Im on a trip right now and the only makep ive brought with me is the lip and cheek stain, a mascara and an eyepencil. Sometimes i dont even use the mascara and the lip pencil because the lip and cheek stain gives my cheeks such a glow and adds insant color to my lips. i love this product! — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

hardly noticeable
pepegoldie (2 reviews)I don't seem to notice it at all. It gives just a hint of color and yet a couple hours later I don't notice any color. Disappointed for the price I paid. — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Long lasting without chapping!
rsinct (2 reviews)I'll get over the fact it does not really act as a "stain" on me. Didn't last the way I thought it would. But it goes on nicely, dries quickly and doesn't dry out my lips. The shimmer is so nice that you don't need a gloss over it. I did see some reviews on the color of the product. It is not red. But I do feel this product will look different on everyone depending on your natural color of your lips. I'm lucky that it is very nice on me for a daytime look. I only need one coat! It's a soft, pretty color with a lovely shimmer - not too much! Again, not perfect in the wear department but otherwise a nice, "neutral" , daytime color that I feel you can wear with just about anything! I love Body Shop! — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
