OK stain
I like this best on my lips, not cheeks. It's not the best lip stain but ok for the affordable price. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain
I like multi-purpose products, I like versatility. As far as this being a good cheek color, I was just not at all impressed. It went all splotchy and weird and dried too quickly to even blend it out, yuck. Now this product as a lip stain, I found it to work very well for my lips. It didn't dry too fast for me to get good even coverage on my lips. I tried wearing it alone, and it kind of left my lips dry looking, but when I applied a clear gloss, I found it more to my liking, and it looked really natural and wore very well as long as I kept a layer of clear gloss over it. I have also used it under lip color and I don't have to continually touch up my lip stick when I wear this under it. The lip stain base makes it difficult to see where your lipstick may be wearing off, and that is a bonus for me. I give this a 7 because it doesn't really perform well as a cheek stain, but it is okay as far as a lip stain. I like the doe foot applicator, and the tube is nice, it is transparent, you can see just how much is in the tube. I like the formulation too, the product doesn't tunnel in the tube as some other products in tubular containers. I don't have to use a lot of product to get good results on my lips, a tube lasts me quite a long time, so it is easy on the wallet. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Decent lip stain, nice for a subtle glow on cheeks.
I picked up the lip and cheek stain in a duo package. One side had the stain and the other had a lip gloss. The crimson that comes in a full-size package is nice but really red. A tiny dot blended into the cheeks gives a nice natural pink glow and sets well with a brushing of powder. For the lips I'm not quite sold. It is an okay base for lipstick, but I prefer a good lip liner. With a coating of gloss it looks nice but by the end of the day parts rub off and it doesn't have the same even finish and ease of application as a good quality lipstick. It also doesn't layer well so if you don't like the color of the initial layer or two you probably won't get the results you want. My other duo had a brownish stain which I LOVE on my cheeks. I use it when I don't want to wear make-up but want to give my face a glow. I wish the Body Shop would come out with a full size of that color! — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
