Wish I could find this

I don't even know if they sell this anymore. I've looked at CVS, Walgreens and Target and haven't seen it. I discovered this mascara in the 1990's and used it, alternating with l'oreal voluminous (also great), for a long time. I got into prestige brands and somewhat forgot about it. It's too bad I can't seem to find one. If you can, grab five, it's still less than a single Chanel mascara and you'll probably love it. It clumps a bit more, but I used to wipe the wand down with a tissue prior to using it, and that helped. Probably the brush was outdated and could be improved, but the formula is completely amazing!

Alotta Bang for a Little Buck

The brush is a great size. It works for everyone: People with short and thick lashes or those with long and fine lashes, and everyone in between. It dries quickly, doesn't flake or smudge, and is easy to apply. I wish it thickened just a tiny bit more than it does but, either way it's a great mascara!

love it!

I love max factor and cover girl makeups. They are inexpensive and do the same as expensive ones, this product is no different. Its fantastic!

Great Mascara

What I like about this mascara is that it adds volume and length to lashes without clumping or flaking. Previously, I tried the big yellow brand, and it flaked off into my eyes so badly that I threw it in the garbage, a complete waste of money. This mascara lasts all day and into the evening. I would prefer a thinner brush, but no big deal. One thing to be aware of is that some mascara removers, s...read moreuch as the popular Almay mascara remover pads, don't work with this formula. It comes off better with plain soap and water than with the special mascara remover. I would purchase this brand again. It ranks up with my other favorite volumizer mascara by L'Oreal.

AWESOME

This was my very first mascara! I was about 13, and ooh, it takes me back... At the time Titanic was hitting cinema's and makeup artists explained how they created the naturel, flawless look on Kate Winslet, using only Max Factor products. I was hooked! I bought the brown version, because according to mommy "black is too harsh on your fair skin" :) I had also read a lot ...read moreof reviews regarding this mascara and was sad to find out that Max Factor was no longer available in the States. So I turned to my trusty plan B: Amazon. They had it, I ordered it and I love it! It makes my lashes long and is easily buildable without the dreaded clumping .It lengthens and thickens the lashes nicely. It didn't clump or flake. I used this for a couple months as my everyday mascara with no issues. Although I cannot really complain about the formula, I wish they had a wand that would help lift and fan out the lashes!It's only taken 2 layers, which I would do anyway, and I have gorgeous full, thick black lashes. I'm so impressed words can't even express. It's not waterproof, and I am prone to the old panda eyes, so we will see how I get on during the course of the day, but so far, I love it. Also, it has a bit of a weird smell, kind of like liquorice, but it's not overpowering. Classic brush, easy to apply, looks great. I'm definitely converted from the other high street brands. The opening is fairly tight so you don't end up with all that extra product on the wand. Lasts all day and washes off easily. I've tried the high end mascaras as well as the drug store brands and this is one of the best I've tried. If you order from Amazon it doesn't come in the usual packaging but in a plastic bag. Be not afraid....it's from a bulk package and it's the real deal!

Wasn't The Best But Wasn't Bad

I have tried a number of mascaras and this one wasn't bad. It added a little bit of volume and made them a little fuller, but did not last very long before it became clumpy. It is great for the price you pay, but does not last as long as I would have liked.

I've tried better

I didn't get the volume I hoped from this. I'm now using Cherry Blooms mascara, simply the best mascara I've ever tried. It gives me the volume that I couldn't get from this mascara.
