Full and Thick Lashes
I really love this mascara because it makes my lashes look fuller and thicker and doesn't clump. I like that it coats each lash evenly for a great look, that is long lasting. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 9 people said helpful

Love this mascara!!
Coats & separates lashes, only clumps a little bit. Will definitely use this again. It is so much better than Lancome's Defincils that I bought about a month ago. And it's WAY cheaper. — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

One, Two, Voila!
This is a decent everyday mascara, while it isn't exactly a glam factor as it manifests, it does deliver a hint of length and volume with a swipe or two. While it's a drug store brand, I'm happy to say it does outperform quite a few department store regulars. A swipe or two of this and you're done, even more can give you a faux lash effect but it can stick together and clump so there's the minus points right there. For a price of around six to eight dollars, this is a deal for a good mascara with chic casing, because I'm hesitant to keep anything ultra bright in my see-through Sephora makeup bag for some reason, this is minimal but very fashionable to keep. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

Pretty Good!
The first tube of this I bought dried out kind of quickly, but I repurchased from Ulta instead of Wal-Mart and I haven't had any problems since. I love this mascara (I have three tubes of it at the moment, that kind of circulate around with me, so I'm never without it). I have fine lashes that are average length, and this gives me what I call my "movie star eyelashes." They don't look quite fake IMO, but they look really full and long. The other day my DH actually stopped and asked me if I was wearing fake lashes though. I use this right after my Shiseido eyelash curler, and it holds up very well in my opinion. My lashes stay relatively curled till I go to bed at night and I don't have any problems with flaking, smearing, or smudging; I don't often coat my lower lashes but I do tend to rub my eyes and use eye drops for my contacts. Before I apply this I wipe the wand on the back of my hand to remove any excess, and that seems to go a long way to eliminating clumpies. Other than that, I haven't noticed any clumping problems unless I'm really layering it on, but even then it's nothing a spare spooly can't fix. For me this has become a staple and I'm fast becoming reluctant to purchase anything else. did they change it?
I have used this for a long time but it seems like the last few bottles have not worked as well... I still love it though. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

It's a Keeper!
When I finally realized how well a second coat goes on with this mascara it has quick become a favorite. It's buildable and gives great volume. It's not clumpy and I don't have to wipe off the wand before applying, like some volumizing mascaras. It also wears well all day and doesn't flake. This is a sure thing that goes on beautifully and washes off easily with my regular face wash - no make-up remover required. The price is fair and I would definitely recommend this product. It's one that I would buy again. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 16 of 19 people said helpful

THEE BEST I EVER HAD
I must say i never used a mascara that was this good(just talking about it gets me soooo excited :D). All through the years I've been using almost all the Maybelline mascaras (Define-A-Lash, Colossal,Great Lash, Lash Stiletto, XXL Extensions, etc.) thinking that no other their brand could beat them down, but boy was I wrong! I actually don't know what prompted me to use Volume Couture but I just did and I immediately fell in LOVE<3. It doesn't clump, flake, dry out, get somewhat messy on the eyelid or irritate my contacts. It even lifts, curls, separates and elongate your lashes. For me to get all of that I'd have to use Full N' Soft, Great Lash & Colossal all together(plus ALL 3 and even more completely flake off/ wither) to achieve that same look. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TRY THIS. YOU'll NEVER LOOK BACK LIKE ME! — 3 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

This Mascara is As Good as the $30 Brand!
I first read about Max Factor Volume Couture Mascara in Consumer Reports Shop Smart Magazine. The reviews were excellent, so I gave it a try. I had only been able to wear Lancome Definicils because it was the only mascara that did not smear under my eyes. Volume Couture DOES NOT SMEAR!!!, and so I am now able to get the same results as the $30 brand for less than half of what I was paying before! Very Happy!!! — 3 years, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Great stuff, for cheap!
I've been using this mascara since high school, on and off, as i experiment with other mascaras. By far, this has been the best in terms of providing the volume I need. My lashes are long, but really thin, so i'm not worried about length. this mascara does what it promises- adds volume! The only drawback is that it flakes a lot... =/ but for 7 bucks, i'll take it any ol day! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

One of the best mascaras ever!
I recently received a full-sized sample of L'Oreal's Double Extend Mascara and the only thing it's accomplished is that it's made me miss Max Factor's Volume Couture mascara like crazy! I was really blown away by how much volume the Volume Couture gives my lashes. (The name says it all.) I like it so much better than Dior's Diorshow, which I think is grossly overpriced for the quality. Volume Couture also doesn't clump or flake - it really lasts all day. I am going back to this ASAP! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 16 of 17 people said helpful
