    No More Purple Water!!

    This conditioner and shampoo combo really keep my color in. I started dying my hair a very dark brown with eggplant highlights and the first round I didn't wash with this and there was purple dye running down my drain for a month! After I started using this I only lost color the first two washes after it was colored which... is normal. Plus- you can't beat the price. The only down side is that it smells a bit like that pink bublegummy amoxicillin you'd take when you got an ear infection as a child. :) May 20, 2008, 8:48 pm

    Great for Long, Thick Hair!!

    I have long, naturally curly hair and I need all the help I can get. This product is excellent...not only does it not cost a fortune, but it works and it smells good too!!! I brush the conditioner through my hair in the shower and when I get out all I have to do is run some of the Garnier leave-in conditioner through my ha...ir with my fingers and I'm off!!!     YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!!

    I am not Afro-American, but I do have combination wavy/curly hair that I color. This product is the only one that does not weight my hair down, make it too soft, or friz out my curls and waves. I am not convinced that it holds my color longer than any other, however, but that's ok with me. I love the way my hair feels an...d looks and that's what's important. I buy a HUGE bottle of it at Costco for only $6.99!!! The only thing I would change about it is the fragrance - I find it very overwhelming and wish it were fragrance-free. July 13, 2009, 11:26 am

    I have read that this product is great for African American hair, but I don't agree. Yes it has a great fragrance, but it doen't untangle my hair at all. The value is worth what you pay for, $3.99. October 11, 2008, 6:36 pm

    I have been using this for over a year now and it helps with colored hair

    I have my hair colored once a month and the cream conditioner seems to extend my color and leaves my hair naturally shiny and stylable. Its a clean product and never drying at all. If you have colored hair this is a practical way to keep that color longer. October 21, 2007, 3:59 pm
