I really wanted to like this, I really did! But unfortunately, it failed me. It smells great, very earthy like other Aveda products. I use this to keep my waves, which it fails miserably at. I have to spray on a lot to only get a minimum amount of hold, which means it does about nothing besides make my hair smell good and wasting a lot of product--and with something that's about $14 for 9 oz, is not a good thing. It does not have SPF for protecting like Paul Mitchell products, but it doesn't make my hair crispy or damaged...I guess. It works way better for updos or styles that have clips and things, not so much for hair that is let down. For hair that is put up, it stays all day long but you feel like you still need to spray a lot on to get the hold you get with traditional hairsprays. FIRM Hold
I havent used this in a while but did for many years. Okay for a "wet" hairspray
It's okay, and it's Aveda, so I know it won't damage my hair, & I am using it at present, but it's a "wet" spray, and I truly prefer a "really firm hold" dry aerosol like the super hold Aussie, which I can't seem to find at WalMar any more:-( — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Perfect Hairspray
I love this hairspray because you can use it everyday, just spray it on lightly for the not so "heavy" stay. If you need to have that extra hold for special occaisions, just spray more on. When I use it daily, and just a light covering spray, I still have no issues with my style falling or looking heavy through out the day. LOVE this hairspray!
My stylist used this on my wedding day, and even the morning after our "honeymoon night" my hair was perfectly in place!
