I really like this formula. It moisturizes well and leaves deep, rich, color..however, pay attention to the shade on the box, because that's what you're going to get. If it says dark, it means it. I'd tried every black hair dye on the shelves. This wast the very best that I found. Stayed put, stayed black, covered grays, never damaged my hair. I am sad to say it's been discontinued and now is even getting scarce online. Hydrience is great!
This is some good haircolor! I used the medium brown shade, at first it's a little dark, but after a few shampoos, it looks like itself. I have naturally dark brown hair with about 5-10% gray, it got rid of the grays and made my dark brown hairs more vibrant looking! And the Pantene conditioner that comes with it is definitely tops! It's long lasting as well (lasted me about a whole month), and it's not as damaging to hair like some other permanent colors. Can a hair color leave your hair in better condition than you started? YES! This one does. Easy to apply, no nasty smell. My color looks like I went to the salon. I am a medium blonde and with other colors, my hair looked either really orange or very green. I've tried just about everything on the market and I finally found one that passed the test! It is a little darker than what the box said, at least on my hair, but that was fine with me. My favorite!
I have used Hydrience for several years now. Recently, because no local stores carry it anymore, I have tried several different brands of hair color. I've have been unhappy with the way my hair feels after using anything else. It always feels dry and bristley after a couple of washings. I have some gray which is resistant to color. My hair is dry and fragile, but the hydrience covers the gray without damaging my hair.
