Good and Gentle
I have been using this for years. It is gentle. It is the type of remover to use with a Q-tip to fix makeup mistakes. Let it dry and you can apply right over it. I love the Clinique brand, but this product does not rate high for me. It certainly removes your makeup. I will give it that. But it is very harsh on my eyes anyway and makes them burn and weep. Have been purchasing since 1980 something...
This has to be my HG (holy grail) of eye makeup removers. I've tried others and always come back to Clinique's Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent. I wear disposable contacts and leave them in my eyes for a week. THis product never gets them "gunked" up and removes all my eye makeup without stinging. Yes, you do have to rinse it off. But, I find with 2 cotton squares (1 for product and one with water) I effectively remove all traces of makeup with little or no mess.
