The scent of luxury!

This is definitely not my everyday shampoo; at about $20 - $25 a bottle, I use it when my hair needs an extra boost of shine or is looking a little dull or flat. It does the job and with the most amazing scent. My stylist used it on me and I noticed the difference right away. Some have compared it to a clarifying shampoo but it is more moisturizing than that. I would definitely recommend!

I thought this shampoo was just ok. It did a good job leaving my hair soft but I didn't care for the fragrance.

Smells great.

It's not drying on your hair and adds a great shine. It cleanses thoroughly. I have since switched to more of a natural approach to hair care. But if these ingredients don't bother you then I would recommend this product. It works nice on color treated hair.

LOVE this

I truly love this shampoo - cleans but doesnt strip hair of moisture. The smell is wonderful and leaves hair shiny and bouncy

Okay

This isn't my favorite Aveda shampoo. It does a good job cleaning, but I wouldn't use it everyday. Works best if you leave it on for a few minutes.

Great Smell - Good General Shampoo

This shampoo smells great and does a good job of cleansing for every-day use. If you don't have hair issues or concerns (like dryness or damage), I think this is a good general, everyday shampoo.

In Between Shampoo

I can always rely on Aveda's pure ingredients so I use this shampoo when I need a break from my regular shampoo. It cleans. It's unable to handle a thick Asian course hair.

An admitted hair product junkie's all-time favorite (for now)

Nothing makes you realize just how much you love (and depend) on a product until you stop using it. I must admit, I am a bit of a hair (and skin and beauty etc) product junkie- I guess you could say I like to experiment. I'm not sure how I originally stumbled across this amazing stuff, but after spotting it the other day at Duane Reade, I couldn't wait to get my hands back on it. I'm not sure what...read more I can really say about it that hasn't already been touched upon... the build-up free glossy shine and the scent (yes, it has a distinct smell but what are you doing using Aveda products if you don't enjoy some sort of olfactory stimulation anyway?!!) make this a Holy Grail shampoo for this product junkie. (Same goes for the conditioner.. LOVE.)

Aveda Brilliant Shampoo-I LOVE it!

I have very thick, wavy long hair and Aveda's Brillant Shampoo works wonders for me. It makes hair shiny and soft, and rinses out easily/quickly/cleaning, yet without stripping your hair. The combination of Aveda Brilliant Shampoo. Brilliant Conditioner, and Light Elements Smoothing Fluid are my recipe for a good hair day, every day.
