Clinique Facial Soap Reviews

Clinique Facial Soap
LittleBunny (393 reviews)I don't really think this is any better than a much less expensive facial soap. It leaves skin feeling stripped, though it does lather nicely. I also didn't feel like my face was clean, not matter how many times I rinsed-- it seemed to simultaneously strip skin while leaving a filmy residue behind. I didn't like it. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

MissPurple (581 reviews)I have to say that this is not worth the money. I usually use Bert's Bee's bar soap, and this is no better. I also felt like my face had a film on it after washing, I prefer an exfoliating scrub to a bar soap. I use bar soap on my body, but I prefer a liquid on my face. — 10 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

My mom used it, I use it, and probably my daughter will use it
luckybetty (880 reviews)My fist clinique product was this soap (as a part of clinique 3-step). I still use it when I don't suffer from acne (I think it does not work well aginst acne problems). It lasts long, thus, the value is good. When I travel, I bring the pump version made also by Clinique. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Side step this one
Thorne (335 reviews)I don't care for this soap. Like other bar soaps, it is just too drying. While it does it fragrance free and does not irritate my skin, it makes my skin feel tight and does not seem to rinse clean. It is also expensive. I like Clinique's liquid soap much better. — 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Simple goodness
MakeupGuru (424 reviews)This soap is long lasting because it doesn't melt easily. It lathers nicely and the oily skin type gives you squeaky clean skin that doesn't dry out. It rinses out very quickly, quicker than those liquid soaps. I will definately buy this again. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

The perfect cleanser, perfect for travel
RavenLoudspeakr (270 reviews)I took off one star because all bar soaps make my skin feel like a rubber chicken. It's not unpleasant, just a bit weird. I used the mild formula and it's great. Does everything the liquid version does: cleans without stripping, and leaves my face soft. Just be careful that you don't get it into your eyes, boy does it hurt. You get an ENORMOUS bar that's lasted me over a year. I recommend lathering it with your hands and applying the lather on rather than rubbing the bar straight onto your face because of the size, unless you can successfully navigate a giant soap brick into all the corners on your face. — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

excellent to use on oily skin
jeni27 (163 reviews)This Clinique facial soap gets my oily skin cleaned and does not make me have breakouts even though my skin breaks out easily. It is worth the buy! — 3 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Too Drying
Feline44mom (192 reviews)I have tried this on several occasions & each time it dried my skin out horribly. I have normal skin with a slighly oil T-Zone. There are much gentler cleansers out there at a lower price. Plus I hate bar soaps because of the mess they make. — 11 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Good, but not sure it's great
ladyslipper (169 reviews)The best thing about it is it didn't dry my face out. It cleans well, I'm just not sure there's anything special about it. I've switched to foaming cleansers that do just as well but are easier to use. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
