I don't really think this is any better than a much less expensive facial soap. It leaves skin feeling stripped, though it does lather nicely. I also didn't feel like my face was clean, not matter how many times I rinsed-- it seemed to simultaneously strip skin while leaving a filmy residue behind. I have to say that this is not worth the money. I usually use Bert's Bee's bar soap, and this is no better. I also felt like my face had a film on it after washing, I prefer an exfoliating scrub to a bar soap. My mom used it, I use it, and probably my daughter will use it
My fist clinique product was this soap (as a part of clinique 3-step). I still use it when I don't suffer from acne (I think it does not work well aginst acne problems).
