Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch-Up Reviews
-
Complete Waste of Money!!
powerwoman033 (509 reviews)The Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch Up is a joke. The price is not that much cheaper than a full box of color and you get so little product, that it ends up costing more because you need 2 or 3 boxes. I did not like the application tool so I just by the same hair color for my root touch ups and if a little is left over, I am totally OK with that. Also, there have breakthroughs in root maintainence! There are powders in all hair colors that can be brushed onto your roots and will last until your next wash. If you are only trying to buy yourself a week or two in between coloring, give one of these a try. I know Joan Rivers makes a great product with an amazing applicator that is available on QVC. — 2 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

easy and convenient
LaurelJ (152 reviews)This product is great for stretching out the time between coloring. I blended in seamlessly with my color, covered the grays, and bought me about 2 extra weeks before I had to color again. The only thing is, it only comes with enough color to do you hairline and part, so you won't be able to do a full root-color with this product, so if you like to move your part around or fix your hair in updos, this might not be the right product for you. But if you just want to buy a little time before you have to get your color done again, this product does the trick — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 10 of 10 people said helpful

cure for poor product
alexandrita (1 reviews)Not enough product. Idea here, would be to use a b ottle of this to keep touching up roots. This is a rip off. Here is a tip: I have a little Stick of touchup by Roux. Works great, washes out, cheap, and my stick has lasted me for years! It is called Tween Time by Roux. I am a bottle redhead so use my stick in Medium Brown, boy I cant live without this thing. Shame on Clairol for their cynicism in producing a product that is not helpful. — 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Clairol Nice n Easy root touch up
Irishwtich (1 reviews)There is not enough product to touch up even the slightest roots. Why would anyone pay the same -- or more -- to purchase this when they can just buy another dye and just touch up the roots. Second: directions are confusing. Dry hair? Wet hair? Also why label the first tube that you use 2? Label it 1 and then the other 2. Seems logical to me. Oh by the way when you want to comment or contact Clairol you have to give a "title" which is insulting -- but required. Also required is a date of birth right down to the month and day...not just a year which they use for demographics. Come on, if they really wanted imput this would not be required. I did not go beyond that...I was disgusted and am still sitting here with their product on my hair. Even if it works...they only provide enough for the front of your hair. What if you are short and people see the ENTIRE top of your head? This type of thing is what is making the brand "CLAIROL" synomous with "OLD LADY BRILLO BLUE HAIR." — 4 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Laurenco77 (35 reviews)This didn't work for me at all. I used to the honey blonde to cover up my darker blonde roots that came in and it didn't do anything. Maybe I didn't do it right or I didn't leave it in long enough? I'm not sure. — 5 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Excellent Product
chill417 (7 reviews)I love it. It blends perfectly, is pretty simple to apply and lets you stretch out your color appointments. You can get 2 to 4 weeks longer depending on your hair growth and how much gray you have. really does let you go longer between colorings
jkschmier (37 reviews)This product really is great. Simple and easy, and I can't blame them that my "resistant grays" require 15 minutes rather than 10. Whenever I can see roots at my part, I just touch them up and am done for weeks. The only thing that would make this better is a bit more product - if you tend to change up your part or have grays at the neckline but sometimes wear a ponytail, it isn't quite enough to cover everything. — 9 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

the best on the market
cjcrum (2 reviews)I use Clairol Root Touch-up 1 or 2 times in between recoloring. I use a color darker than my hair color as the same color does not cover as well. I only cover the areas on the crown and sides where the grey roots can be seen. One package does the trick and it is easy. I have tried the other new competitor and it is cumbersome to use. Clairol brush makes the process easy! — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Love It!
Tamtnff (1 reviews)I saw a commercial for this and decided to give it a try. I get my hair colored at a salon and was a little anxious about doing this myself. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. I only wish I had tried it sooner. It did match my color exactly as it said it would. I think the price I paid was well worth the wonderful job it did. I used this product a week ago so I don't know how long the color will last. The instructions were very easy to follow for someone that has never colored their own hair before. I might even try coloring my own hair now. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Nice and Easy Root Touchup
DDTB2011 (5 reviews)this stuff is great. If your style is mostly flat, then you know how quickly roots show. Using this in between professional color appointments can extend your color and save you money. I used to have an appointment every four weeks, now I can go up to six weeks. It works best if you can get someone else to put the color on for you. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
