Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch-Up Reviews

Complete Waste of Money!!
The Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch Up is a joke. The price is not that much cheaper than a full box of color and you get so little product, that it ends up costing more because you need 2 or 3 boxes. I did not like the application tool so I just by the same hair color for my root touch ups and if a little is left over, I am totally OK with that. Also, there have breakthroughs in root maintainence! There are powders in all hair colors that can be brushed onto your roots and will last until your next wash. If you are only trying to buy yourself a week or two in between coloring, give one of these a try. I know Joan Rivers makes a great product with an amazing applicator that is available on QVC. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 10 people said helpful

easy and convenient
This product is great for stretching out the time between coloring. I blended in seamlessly with my color, covered the grays, and bought me about 2 extra weeks before I had to color again. The only thing is, it only comes with enough color to do you hairline and part, so you won't be able to do a full root-color with this product, so if you like to move your part around or fix your hair in updos, this might not be the right product for you. But if you just want to buy a little time before you have to get your color done again, this product does the trick — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 17 of 17 people said helpful

Does What It Claims - Quick & Easy!
I literally just used this for the first time. The grays on my center part are gone, my hair is back to being totally black and I can wear it down again for awhile. I read the other reviews that dissed this product, but for dark-haired ladies, it should work fine. The instructions say this product is intended for use on your part and along your hairline ~ it's NOT meant for coloring the roots on your entire head ~ and this is why there is a smaller amount. I think if you need more than the amount given, you really need to just go and get a full color. For stubborn grays, be sure to leave it on an extra 5 minutes or so, as per the instructions. Simple application, easy, quick and no problem. Love it and it gets a perfect score in my book. :) — 5 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Don't laugh at me BUT I use this
I use this Clairol root-touch-up for my eyebrows. It works great. My brows have been popping up with long grey single hairs and I hate em. To the rescue Clairol root-touch-up. Try it !!! — 2 weeks, 4 days agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Nice n Easy
Definitely was easy, not bad on the price either however, you get what you pay for too.... washed out a little to fast for me. Only lasted about two weeks, would've been happier for another week to 10 days until I could get to the salon. Good in pinch I supposed but will continue my search for the 'just in case' root touch up product. — 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

cure for poor product
Not enough product. Idea here, would be to use a b ottle of this to keep touching up roots. This is a rip off. Here is a tip: I have a little Stick of touchup by Roux. Works great, washes out, cheap, and my stick has lasted me for years! It is called Tween Time by Roux. I am a bottle redhead so use my stick in Medium Brown, boy I cant live without this thing. Shame on Clairol for their cynicism in producing a product that is not helpful. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 9 people said helpful

Clairol Nice n Easy root touch up
There is not enough product to touch up even the slightest roots. Why would anyone pay the same -- or more -- to purchase this when they can just buy another dye and just touch up the roots. Second: directions are confusing. Dry hair? Wet hair? Also why label the first tube that you use 2? Label it 1 and then the other 2. Seems logical to me. Oh by the way when you want to comment or contact Clairol you have to give a "title" which is insulting -- but required. Also required is a date of birth right down to the month and day...not just a year which they use for demographics. Come on, if they really wanted imput this would not be required. I did not go beyond that...I was disgusted and am still sitting here with their product on my hair. Even if it works...they only provide enough for the front of your hair. What if you are short and people see the ENTIRE top of your head? This type of thing is what is making the brand "CLAIROL" synomous with "OLD LADY BRILLO BLUE HAIR." — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Review subject
This didn't work for me at all. I used to the honey blonde to cover up my darker blonde roots that came in and it didn't do anything. Maybe I didn't do it right or I didn't leave it in long enough? I'm not sure. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Excellent Product
I love it. It blends perfectly, is pretty simple to apply and lets you stretch out your color appointments. You can get 2 to 4 weeks longer depending on your hair growth and how much gray you have.
