I just dyed my hair red with a demi permanent hair color (lasts through 28 shampoos). Using this stuff my color has been going strong for 3 weeks and reds are notorious for fading. It lathers well, leaves my hair feeling clean and moisturized. Yummy fragrance!
I have used Pantene on and off through the years. I would not consider myself a loyal Pantene user. The perception is that the sulfates are very drying to the hair, but after reading these great reviews I had to try it anyway! The fragrance was amazing, even better than other Pantene shampoos I have tried. Its like a clean mixed with some fruit. I only wash my hair 3x a week, and I love sudsy shampoos. This one did not disappoint; it was so easy to lather and it made my hair feel really clean. I have been using it for a few months now and have not experienced any unusual dryness or frizziness as a result of the sulfates. However, I also havent experienced any extra shine or color retention. Doesn't clean well
I try to stay away from creamy shampoos because I feel like they don't clean my hair very well. And sure enough, this leaves oily residue in my hair, and I find that I have to wash it more frequently. I don't use a lot of products, so I don't have lots of product buildup. But my hair tends to get oily, especially at the roots. This shampoo just doesn't leave my hair clean. It conditions well, but doesn't clean well. As far as preserving color, I didn't notice anything special about this shampoo either. Meh..
It smells nice.. it doesn't lather a LOT for me. It cleans my hair well though. LOVE IT!!
I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners over the years, many salon brands, and more recently less expensive brands. I have very fine, but lots of it, highlighted hair. I love this shampoo and conditioner. A little goes a long way, it smells fantastic, and best of all, no tangles when I get out of the shower. I tried the Pantene highlighting expressions, and I like this one so much better. Definitely a staple in our house now, and no more Ulta trips for expensive brands. Great basic for colored hair.
I've been using this, along with the matching conditioner, for about a month. It leaves my hair soft, shiny, feeling healthy and smelling good.
