Eventual Build-Up
My hair: mid back, straight, brown, not chemically treated but damaged from daily flat ironing and blow outs. I tend to get split ends. I like this shampoo, it makes my hair super shiny, and my hair does feel more conditioned/softer after using the restoratives combo, but by the second week of consistent use with the shampoo/conditioner combo I get build up and my hair becomes more difficult to manage than it was in the first place. At this point it takes several washes with clarifying shampoo to get back to a decent texture. Not Worth It
I really wish this product worked for my dry, fine hair but it did nothing. I've tried many a Pantene product in my year and I'm starting to think every shampoo of theirs is the same. It dries my hair out even more and the smell bothers me. This product's advertising campaign is overwhelming, so I thought I'd give into this particular line of shampoos. Best shampoo I've ever tried.
My hair had'nt been trimmed in over 2 years and was really getting split ends like crazy. Since using Pantene Pro-V Restoratives my hair is silky smooth and sooo easy to comb. I'm talking hair that is below my bra in back,you know long hair. I am so pleased with this product. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone that has dry ,coarse,frizzy hair that is starting to grey. Nothing Special
The smell of the shampoo is ok, it's not too overpowering or to soft either. It helps somewhat with the frizz but it does not control the frizz. I have thick hair and I thought that this product was going to make my hair at least less frizzy but it barely does the job. I don't think that it delivers. Doesnt live up to its name
I have thick curly hair and ive been trying to use this shampoo and conditioner for a month and it still kills me with the humidity. I straighten my hair everyday and i use the conditioner to protect me against humidity and keep it straight. As soon as I step on campus, my hair is really soft but my curls start to come back out. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!!
I have thick coarse hair and I color it often. I live in Arizona so the sun and dry weather add to the dryness of my hair. Then to top it all off, I swim a lot. Over time my hair has become bleached fuzz. I tried everything, I am talking about conditioners that cost $40 for a small bottle. Then I tried the Pantene Anti-Frizz shampoo and conditioner. I get it from Walmart and it is about $4.94 per bottle. I never would have believed that I would have beautiful beautiful SHINEY hair again. I mean my hair actually shines!!!!! Every time I use it, my hair seems to get better. So now not only does my hair look great, I have lots more money to spend on other things.
