This really exfoliates well. After using, my lipstick really glides on and does not come off and get funny after wearing it for a while.

A Must Have!

I love Laura's Lip Strip for my lip exfoliator. I found out about lip scrubs first through Philosophy's lip scrub and I loved the results. The problem with their scrub is the delivery system. It is in a tube that gets clogged with the sugar and you can't even use it. Then I found Laura's Lip Strip. I love the taste and feel of this lip scrub. My lips are always so soft and supple after use and I can get to the product because it is in a small jar. A Must Have!

Doesn't work as well as it should

This is an expensive product considering you can get the same results by mixing one up yourself. It's basically peppermint sugar with some moisturizing oil in it. The granules are slightly larger, so you really have to give them some melting time in order to truly get exfoliation. I use this when I've run out of my usual Brown Sugar lip scrub. I prefer something that is really going to work, and this just doesn't do it for me.

Effective but harsh

I received a deluxe sample that comes in a tube instead of the jar, which I like more since it's more sanitary. This scrub works great for when your lips are starting to peel. It is now my go to and it gives my lips instant relief and makes them much smoother! Those dead skin gone! It has a nourishing balm like texture that exfoliates and conditions at the same time. I also really like the minty scent/sensation! :D It's hard to rinse off since it is like a balm so I usually wipe off any excess and then top it with lip balm.

Needs more oomph

I liked this lip scrub. It is a good value for the price, because it seems to work better the less that you use. However I would like a grainer product. It softens nicely, but I feel that the exfoliant could be increased.

It doesn't exfoliate really well

It was pretty costly, considering all it is is just sugar and oil. I would use it before i put on my lipstick. But i ended up giving it to my mom because it didn't remove nearly enough dry skin from my lips. My lips get incredibly dry so i need to use a scrub or buffer to ensure a smooth lip. This product just didn't cut it for me.

Awesome Product!

This product works really well. The granules are bigger than most lip scrubs so it really buffs off the dry skin. It doesn't have a bad smell or a bad taste. Even though it is kind of expensive and small it lasts a really long time.

A waste

I got some of the product in my mouth and found the taste and cooling sensation really unpleasant. The sugar granules are really large an awkward, I had to wash it off before I could really get good use of it. I'll continue to use a clean wet toothbrush to exfoliate my lips instead of shelling out $16 for this product.

Works!

I recieved a sample of this stuff from Sephora and now that the weather has had gotten colder I found my lips became chapped and horrible looking. This stuff stays on the lips - it doesn't dissolve (which is great because you can really exfoliate with the grains). Its kinda sweet which isn't bad and it smoothes your lips. I did find it hard trying to exfoliate my lips (never done that before) I always used the toothbrush method. However, I'm sure with practice it becomes easier! From now on I'll be using the lip strip because it works and I find it has lasting results :o)
