    Sweet lips

    by breezy1 (14 reviews)
I have a slight overbite and so when I sleep, my upper teeth rest on my lower lip, and makes it get chapped at times. I am awlays looking for something to help exfoliate my lips, and when I bought lip strip, I figured it might be different, even with the funny name. I notice that I barely need to use any, and that it actu...ally is sweet, like sugar, but stays on your lips while massaging it in to exfoilate, instead of dissolving like normal sugar would. I also love the fact that after you rinse it off, it leaves a nice soft moisture on my lips. I think the price is great, and is lasting me a while. May 15, 2008, 11:17 pm

LIP STRIP + LIP LOVE IS PERFECT !

    by gailcooke (19 reviews)
While I love the Lip Strip, pairing it with Lip Love is perfection for me. It's called Lip Makeover Kit, and here are my thoughts: More than soothing, more than smoothing, Laura Geller's two product Lip Makeover Kit gives lips twice the tender loving care they need, and a double dose of softness. Whil...e there are many lip "scrubs" on the market, they leave you to decide how to hydrate. And, there are a plentitude of lip softeners that are of little benefit when dry, rough skin isn't removed. This dandy daily treatment doesn't miss a trick - first apply Lip Strip, an effective yet gentle exfoliator that buffs away dry skin. Next, apply Lip Love, an unparalleled gloss that thoroughly hydrates and enhances shine. Lips have never looked so luscious! April 14, 2008, 10:17 am

    Great Exfoliant

    by cmapilad (32 reviews)
I really liked this exfoliant. It didn't taste waxy or greasy, it helped my dry, flaky lips and the cooling, tingling sensation was great. I slapped on some lip balm afterward. This is one of the best lip exfoliants I've used. March 11, 2008, 12:28 am

    A waste

    by linedeyes (26 reviews)
I got some of the product in my mouth and found the taste and cooling sensation really unpleasant. The sugar granules are really large an awkward, I had to wash it off before I could really get good use of it. I'll continue to use a clean wet toothbrush to exfoliate my lips instead of shelling out $16 for this product. November 4, 2009, 10:57 am

    Works!

    by Mandy407 (10 reviews)
I recieved a sample of this stuff from Sephora and now that the weather has had gotten colder I found my lips became chapped and horrible looking. This stuff stays on the lips - it doesn't dissolve (which is great because you can really exfoliate with the grains). Its kinda sweet which isn't bad and it smoothes your lips. I... found my lips were smoother and moisturized. I also found that they seemed a little more plump - not too much just a little (which is a bonus). I did find it hard trying to exfoliate my lips (never done that before) I always used the toothbrush method. However, I'm sure with practice it becomes easier! From now on I'll be using the lip strip because it works and I find it has lasting results :o) October 21, 2009, 1:04 pm

I liked this lip scrub. It is a good value for the price, because it seems to work better the less that you use. However I would like a grainer product. It softens nicely, but I feel that the exfoliant could be increased. June 10, 2009, 8:01 pm

I use this twice a day

    by happyphantom (9 reviews)
I paid $16 for it, but it lasts forever. Wonderful tingly mint feeling (and taste, if you get some in your mouth). It exfoliates and moisturizers, as it contains oils. December 10, 2008, 3:06 pm

    Absolutely Wonderful!

This is a wonderful lip exfoliant! It's not drying, but instead it has a lovely tingling sensation and it tastes sweet and also leaves your lips incredibly smooth and soft. March 8, 2008, 9:42 pm

laura geller lip strip cooling sugar scrub

    by cheriedesalvo (1 review)
if you have ever had herpes simplex - "cold sore" - the skin of the lips sees a scrub as an irritant and you may have a break out caused by any type of irritant. February 10, 2008, 1:37 pm

  • A hydrating lip scrub gently buffs dry lips to renewed smoothness.   Historically, sugar is known to be one of the safest natural exfoliants and humectants, and because the skin of the lips is so delicate, pure organic sugar from Brazil was chosen as the base of this scrub. This scrub is complimented by a tint of Peppermint and Spearmint Oils for a wonderfully, refreshing sensation.
