Fresh Softens and Colors Beautifully!
My lips are not naturally very full, and for the great part of the year I have a hard time keeping them moist. Peeling can be a real problem during Pennsylvania's brutal winters and searing summers. I've tried a multitude of lip products, but none have completely helped with my problems. Thus, I used to put a bit of brown sugar on a very soft-bristled toothbrush and rub gently to rid my pout of dead skin and soften the skin. Fresh's delectable "Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15" has taken that duty away from me by creating a lip softener with a chief ingredient of sugar to exfoliate and keep moisture in my lips. Who knew--sugar itself is a natural humectant! On top of that, Fresh adds Tart and Sweet Black Currant Oils, which are rich in plumping Essential Fatty Acids. Add to that mix Vitamins A, C, and E, helpful in providing protection from wrinkle-causing free radicals. Last but certainly not least: Jojoba, Meadowfoam Seed, and Avocado Oils work overtime for baby-smooth lips. But that's not where the beauty ends. This product is available in a variety of flattering shades. I gravitate toward "Sugar Berry Tinted" (a sheer berry-mauve) and "Sugar Rose Tined" (a light berry-rose). The scent is wonderful! You can wear this alone for just a hint of color or as a helpful base under any other lip product. Luxurious!
I bought the Plum because wine colored lips were in for the season. This gives sheer, but visible color for those interested in that. It feels wonderful on my lips too! This makes my lips feel very pampered, nourished and soft--not to mention it's not sticky and one little tube does last significantly longer than buying a tube of chapstick at the drug store. Fabulous, but Pricey
The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is the best tinted color for lips I have found. The SPF is wonderful and this leaves my lips feeling soft and supple. I received this product as a free birthday gift from Sephora and I will be buying the full sized in the colored as well. This product is like a luxurious chap stick, smells great and doesn't leave the usual nasty wax taste in your mouth. It soothes over chapped lips and work as a conditioner to soften and smooth your lips to perfection! Basic Lip Balm, Fancy Price
I have tried the Fresh Sugar Lip Balm in the plain, no-color, and the sheer raspberry color. These are just basic lip balms from what I can tell. They go on a bit waxy which isn't my favorite. They are pretty conditioning but I don't feel like they really penetrate my lips to provide more long lasting benefits. I didn't care for the tinted balm at all. It wasn't much color at all and made me look frumpy. These are lightly scented and smell of lemons. I just would never fork over $22 for this product. Great lip protectant
I finally tried these products through sephora and was pleasantly surprised. These definitely lived up to the hype and the price. It is great that these contain sunscreen as skin cancer runs in my family. Wonderful!
These are my favorite lip balms. I especially love the tinted versions, with Sugar Plum being my absolute favorite. Passion is nice, too--like the Rose but with deeper color. The scent and texture is wonderful, though I find I have to be careful to not apply too much or the color looks a little off and the texture can get weird. Like Butter
If you're on a budget I wouldn't purchase this , but I got it from Sephora as a birthday gift and was so amazed at the luxury of applying the tubes to my lips. They went on my mouth like butter and if it weren't for the extreme price. I would probably purchase them for myself. Totally In Love!!
I've been using this product for a little under two years. I love the Sugar Rose', it's so pretty, so moisturizing, and has the perfect amount of tint to it without overdoing it. I also adore the regular Sugar Lip Treatment. I love the moisture, the bright, fresh smell of citrus, and the fact that these work. They're a little pricey, but they last a long time, even with regular use. Makes lips very soft
