Maybelline New York Dream Mousse Blush Reviews

Not what I expected
Maybelline used to make AWESOME stick cream blushes, so when I saw this, I thought it would be the next best thing. I was completely wrong. While the fluffy texture is nice, the blushes streaks like crazy, no matter if you apply it with finger, a brush, or a sponge. It comes off looking like warpaint...and the colors are just too intense for it not to blend well. Major disappointment. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Dream Mousse Blush
This product does feel light and airy until you try to apply it. No matter which tool I used, this blush streaked and did not look natural at all. The colors are all a bit too much. Once you finally achieve a look that will allow you to step outside your door, give it an hour or so and you won't be able see the blush at all. I highly suggest trying Laura Geller's Whipped Blush. It feels like air, gives buildable sheer coverage, and applies like a TRUE DREAM! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not Great
Difficult to apply, doesn't last long, hard to get off your fingers. Not a great product. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

It wears off too soon
This Dream Mousse was on sale. I have tried cream blush only once or twice in the past when I was younger, and I wanted to try it again. Like the name suggests, the texture is light. The color that I purchased, 40 Soft Plum, is pretty, maybe a little bit more pinky than I wanted it to be. Anyway, it goes on smoothly, and I like a natural flush look that this blush gives my cheeks. Then, a few hours later, it is unnoticeable! Where does the color go? It blends with my foundation? I like the concept and the price, but I still prefer powder-based blush. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Natural Look
I love this blush because it is soft and creamy and gives my cheeks a nice glow. The blush is like a mousse to spread on easily for a natural color that lasts a long time. This is easy to take with you and gives a nice rose color. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great Blush But Could Do Without the Shimmer
I agree with the prior reviewers who said this would be a fantastic blush if not for the shimmer. It blends well, the colors are sheer enough for even the palest of skins (including my paperwhite skin) but can be layered for more color and I had zero trouble with it lasting...lasted all day. It also didn't irritate my sensitive skin either. If they would ditch the shimmer, I'd give it a 10! — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Looks great!
I've always used powder blush. Anything other then powder, I knew would be a mess with me, however this was on sale at Ulta and after high recommendations on a blog, I decided to give it a try. I bought the Petal Fresh, another step out on the ledge, I've always used shades of orange/bronze as my blush color. I did a test run with it using my blush brush and I LOVE IT now. The color is buildable and beautiful. My only complaint is that they don't have a lot of color choices. I'm hoofing it back to Ulta to stock up! — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

It's Okay.
I like the packaging and it looks nice on, but it is hard to blend, have to be aggressive , rubbing it on the face to make it blend well, which I feel may contribute to wrinkles over time. I have a hard time getting over putting my fingers in it. I feel like there is a contamination. It may be my over active imagination, but I wish it came in a tube where I could squeeze it onto my fingers. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
