Maybelline New York Cover Stick Corrector Concealer Reviews

A bad idea
I don't think this is a good product. The concealer is very greasy, doesn't cover well, and it seems like applying a stick to blemishes would just result in spreading germs. Yuck. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not very good
I like the concept of the concealer stick because liquid concealers can become so messy, but this does not conceal half as well as liquid concealers. It's cakey and doesn't last long. It doesn't blend well either. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great in the Yellow and Green Versions
I have not tried this in the beige version, BUT I do own both the yellow and green corrector. They work perfectly! Green is used for under eye darkness, yellow to decrease red pigmentation. I really like the texture - the product is a little creamy so it blends well. I found the product long lasting and did not experience any greasiness. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

A little too light coverage
I have several ugly acne scars and sun damage, and I have been searching for a great and effective concealer, thus, I gave this cover stick (Medium Beige) a try. Pros: It is inexpensive and nice size (like a lipstick) to carry around. Cons: It does not blend well with my regular foundation (maybe it requires Maybelline foundation for the best result), and my acne scars are too dark for this cover stick to cover completely. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Very noticeable!
I used this on my acne, but it only made it dryer, as if my skin was just flaking off where I used it. Will not buy again. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Not impressed.
After watching enough youtube beauty guru videos, I decided it was time to buy an under-eye concealer that was lighter than my skin to help contour my face. The day I set out to make my purchase I was tight on money, so I decided to give this one a try. I was certainly disappointed. Although the color I picked does do a great job of highlighting my face, I found that no amount of priming or setting will keep this product out of the fine lines under my eye. Almost instantly, I would have these streaks that looked terrible-I almost prefer my eyes to have dark bags under them! I will say that the opacity of this product is great for under-eyes though. Since I hate to waste products, I decided to try this concealer out on blemishes and dark spots instead of the hopeless under-eyes. MAJOR mistake. This product cakes up terribly on top of blemishes, and although it certainly masks discoloration, it is much too thick to blend properly, drawing even more attention to the problem area you are trying so desperately to cover up. I still use this from time to time, hoping to find a way to make it work for me, but so far I have been disappointed. This experience has kept me from branching out in the realm of concealers. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, and I feel as though quality was certainly squelched a bit with this product. Also, the stick broke at the bottom pretty soon after purchasing it, making a bit of an unstable mess. I will not be repurchasing this product and cannot wait to get through it so I can try something else. I do not recommend it to anyone. Although the price is enticing, it isn't worth the disappointment. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Worst concealer ever
Unsanitary, awful shades, melts on the skin, creases like a plague, just the worst type of concealer ever and, on top of it all, instead of being on the yellow toned side to offer a bit of a correcting effect, all shades I tried are on the pink tone side, I mean, come on, Maybelline!, do you make makeup or face paint! I was so, so disappointed. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not my favorite
This concealer is really hard and sticky. When I blended it under my eyes, it tore up my skin! I suggest using it on hard spots on your face. I wish this concealer could have been a bit softer as other ones have been. I also find that there is not enough product in the tube. I didn't use it very much and I could see a huge difference in the amount that it originally came with. I also don't think it blends very well. When I blended it on my face, It was very white because it was so hard and sticky. I now use it as a white cream eyeshadow!! — 4 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Price Matches Coverage
As cheap as this is (at Walmart), the coverage is pretty average in my opinion. You have to make sure you get the EXACT same color as your skin or you'll definitely notice a color difference. I used it only for covering up acne and acne scars, and it doesn't completely cover them. I have oily skin, but it seems to not cause me to have worse acne than I already have, and it tends to stay on all day long. Overall, if you're on a budget, this is for you. — 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Wish There Were More Colors
This product is amazing and covers every imperfection! I only wish that it had a more "fit me" selection so I don't have to cover it all up with foundation. Other than that it works very well and it's very affordable. — 10 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
