  Great Makeup but.....

  I have used this foundation for about a year, and I must say that it has its pros and cons! I love love love the coverage it provides and the matte finish, and in my opinion, it lasts longer than most foundations. However, I have acne-prone skin and it definetely isn't oil free, so it causes breakouts for me. I really like ...it so I thought maybe it I try to take really good care of my skin and continue to use this it would be fine, but it still causes breakouts for me. If I wasn't acne-prone, I would give this makeup a perfect ten! Blends wonderfully, covers everything, looks great! May 10, 2008, 12:54 pm

  Not for acne-prone skin!

  I must admit that this foundation is flawless--it goes on evenly, it makes your skin look smooth and even. However, after buying this and using it for one month, I began to break out REALLY bad. I tried tons of new things on my face to help, and then I finally realized the problem wasn't going away because of the foundation... I was using. Once I stopped using this, my acne cleared right up again. I'm not sure if this product is oil-free or not, but I'd suggest that people with acne-prone skin do not use this product. Neutrogena and Almay (if choosing drug store brands) would be the better way to go! November 29, 2007, 8:06 pm

  The perfect foundation

  The Dream Matte Mousse foundation is an absolute winner. I have tried a lot of products and my skin has always been left feeling either dry or oily. My skin is normal, it isn't dry or oily, I don't have any problems with achne (only a few zits every now and then) but I have an uneven skin tone. I loved Dream Matte Mousse f...rom the first time I tried it at a friend's request. It was very easy and light to apply, and in an instant I had a beautiful, evenly toned skin that didn't shine - just how I like it. Eversince (~2 years) I have been using Dream Matte Mousse only. It is truly the perfect foundation! It leaves the skin breathing and stayes on the whole day - but is still easy to remove with a simple make-up remover. So if you want a matte, evenly toned, beautiful face, you wanna go with Maybelline New York's Dream Matte Mousse. Plus all other makeups go on top of it very well! April 24, 2008, 9:20 am

  Good Standby

  While I was waiting on my usual foundation to arrive in the mail, I tried this. It's very smooth and easy to blend. It comes off fairly easily though. The coverage is fantastic too. I have fair skin with a little redness to it and this evens it out really well. It's hard to match your color because the color you see from th...e outside of the jar is a lot lighter than what you see when you open it up. I had to go back and buy the shade lighter and even that was a little dark. But overall, I like the product. I used the whole thing before I went back to my usual foundation.   My Forever Favorite Foundation!!

  Tried this out of desparation...but found my all-time favorite product! I have tried foundations in all price ranges and have never found anything else that has performed like this. I have struggled with uneven skin tone, oily skin, dry skin, breakouts and other products have just left me more of a mess.   Pretty Good

  I used this foundation for a few years until I discovered powdered foundation and like the look that it gives better. I like this foundation better than any liquid ones that I tried though. It was great for like the first 2 weeks after I bought it and went on very smooth, but after a while it got clumpy and it was too expen...sive to replace that often.   I used this most of my junior year in high school, and it worked great. I have to switch up my foundations often because my skin sort of "adapts" to the ones I use, and the oil seeps through easier, forcing me to try other products. This lasted me a little longer than some other ones, and the whole mousse conce...pt is creative. A little bit goes a long way with this foundation. I like it because it goes on smooth. There are a couple of odd chunks here and there, but it's nice that it covers so well. I couldn't even feel it! March 29, 2008, 8:54 am

  The texture of this product is very soft, almost like dipping your hand into a butter jar and a little bit goes a long way all over the face. It is air soft on the face, making it feel supple and smooth in texture after an application and it evens skintone visibly. However, for oily skin, a blot powder is recommended as y...ou may see shine within a couple of hours of wear from this product. This is very much similar and the lessened price tag version of Lancome's mousse foundation. What I disliked, however, about this foundation is if you take pictures, you're face will end up appearing having a washed out effect because of the pigments blended into the their formula so be cautious when taking a photo with this one!   Incredible Coverage!

  With dark undereye circles, I had never left the house without using concealer. This covers enough to skip the concealer for daily stuff or errands! (I "set" it with a dusting of loose powder.) It really evens out skin tones & feels like nothing on the skin. Some drug stores (Walgreens, etc.) will refund f...or cosmetics even if opened & might help with the color match issue...just be sure to ask first, to make sure of the policy where you shop.
